how can you say Davis is running the franchise into the ground when all hes done is give his team the pieces it needs to win???
Yea we passed on Dorsey, but Dorsey is not a NOSETACKLE, he is an UNDERTACKLE which is not a hole we need filled.
we filled the Safety Hole with Gibril Wilson, We upgraded our Cornerback spot with DHALL, We got Depth on the DLine with William Joseph, Kalimba Edwards, Greg Spires, and now we have a HEALTHY Tommy Kelly and Gerard Warren (whom raped the donks when we played em).
We filled the Linebacker hole (potentially) with the signing of Ed Hartwell,
and now weve given our offense deep threats in Mcfadden, Walker, and Carter, (and maybe Koren Robinson?)
so if we beat the donks and the Chiefs with Josh McCown and Daunte Culpepper at QB, NO RECEIVERS, Justin Fargas and only like 2 healthy starting DEFENSIVE LINEMAN, WHAT DO YOU THINK THE OUTCOME WILL BE NEXT SEASON???

Who cares what Shelereth says about the Raiders. The guy is a loser Donkey lover. We know what we did in the off season and we improved alot from last year. Kiffin will be much more comfertable and will make this team alot better than last year. He can talk all the crap he want's about the Raiders now but after the season we will see what he has to say.

I'm not really sure what you guys expect to happen when you go 19 - 61 over a 5 year span.......top 10 ranking? It is what it is and until they win some games they're going to get smacked around.
I had to repost this because this says it all. 19-61 over the last 5 years isn't going to get to many people talking good about us. Hate us or not the stats don't lie. Sure Al has made some signings so far but none of them has done anything yet. WHEN Rusell becomes a top QB, WHEN Bush and Mcfadden become top RB and WHEN the Raiders start winning game again THEN you'll see them talk good about us. Just like when Up-Chuck was here. Until Then guys take it for what it's worth, just a bunch of want-a-be players or a bunch of washed up guys that just talk. None of them can see the future. They can only go on 19-61. JMO

Compare D-Mac to Jamal Charles that the Chiefs picked up in the third round then compare Glenn Dorsey to any DT taken in the third round and see which gap is closerAre you mentally handicapped? McFadden was the best player in the draft, hands down. I'd say Jamal Charles isnt even close to DMC, Glen Dorsey might not even have been the best DT in the draft,. cause i personally believe Sedrick Ellis was the best DT this year. While DMC was the undisputed #1 RB in a deep RB class. Mark my words Quiefs fan, the Raiders will be 2nd in the AFC West or maybe even first but thats pushing it. We Will for surely sweep the powder puffs from KC and Ponys from Denver.

With all the trouble the Raiders have stopping the run how do you pass on Glenn Dorsey and take Darren McFadden?
In the LSU - Arkansas game Arkansas piled up 385 yards rushing & 5 td's again the Dorsey led LSU D. Of which DMac had 206 + 3.
I WAs GOING ON but why bother..

ya know mark schlereth is just a straight up douch. he doesnt know what he's talkin about. sometimes i think i can do a better job than him, heck about 95 percent of the people on these boards can do a better job than him. especially how they get the questions before hand and they get notes. psh.

I don't care where ESPN analysts rank the Raiders, it all boils down to what Davis and Kiffin get out of the players. ESPN pays these clowns for guess work and bad opinions. Go Raiders.

You failed to answer the question GSW. Is there a greater gap between Glen Dorsey and any third round DT or between Darren McFadden and Jamal Charles? I am not arguing with you that D-Mac was the best back in the draft, what I am saying is it is much easier to find a quality RB later in the draft than a starting DT. Try and keep up.
It is obvious that whatever I say, you will disagree with. Fair enough being that you are a Faiders fan. I was trying to have a real discussion with you guys here.
A sweep of the Chiefs and the Broncos, now that is hysterical. Take a look at the last five seasons records against both of those teams:
Chiefs vs. Raiders 1997-2007 Chiefs lead 9-1
Broncos vs. Raiders 1997-2007 Broncos lead 8-2
Enough said. Talk to me once they have more than a couple division wins.
