Hey Cycotic,

Whats your opinion on Atmosphere? I've been getting into some more independent rap artists and I've heard a lot about them. I know they had a new album come out and I'm thinking about picking it up. Also like how you show love to Crucial Conflict back from like 1994, 1st rap cd I ever owned.

Anyone in here listen to Matisyahu?  I've been getting bored with most music lately and came across as of late. I didn't think it'd be that great at first, kinda a novelty thing with the hasidic jew doing reggae.  But I can't seem to take it out of the car cd player.  It just feels right to cruise with it on.

I enjoy Matisyahu very much.  I love how he mixes rapping with reggae and rock.  What i also love is how his lyrics are upbeat and positive, unlike most the hip-hop industry today(i just wrote a paper on that topic), excluding De La Soul and several others.

I'm glad somebody else listens to Mr. Bungle, Mike Patton is huge influence of every crazy-voiced/strange grunting singer of the 90s-00s (think Jonathan Davis of Korn). Also, I forgot to add Stevie Wonder! Talking Book and Innervisions are two of my all time favorite albums.

I'm a hard core alternative guy, although my favorite band of all time is Rush.

I listen to Bob Mould/Sugar/Husker Du, The Afghan Whigs, the Deftones, Social Distortion, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Porcupine Tree, Live, Catherine Wheel, Tool/A Perfect Circle, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Stabbing Westward, Helmet, Chevelle, and Mudvayne to name a few.

I can't do Country or Hip Hop.
