Also I think that the people in Minnesota hear something about a sausage race and instantly get excited.

the Cubs and Cardinals take over miller park because they just have a lot of fans who love to see baseball and cant see it at their own park because its usually sold out. what is the excuse for why Twins fans are more eager to buy tickets in milwaukee than in minny?

Awww, looks like I struck a chord.  It's ok that the Cubs and Cards fans take over your park, but you just can't stand it that the Twins fans do it too can you?  If you're trying to figure out why we show up, take a look at a map sometime chucklehead.  If it's any consolation plenty of us show up in KC and Chicago as well.  As a matter of fact I'll be taking in a game on the South side this June.  Milwaukee is unique in that it's interleague play as well, though only because Bud is a twit.  Klement's sausage house is pretty awesome though too.

actually, all you did here was prove my point. the twins stadium is so wretched their fans would rather see games in an opposing teams ballpark.

p.s. it doesnt bother me that there are 40-50% cubs, cards and twins fans in our stadium. im not there to see the fans. all you are doing is contributing to the local economy. i will say, however, that of the 3 fanbases that take over (Cardinals are more of a 30-40% takeover) the twins fans are the most polite in my experience, with cardinals a close second. the cubs are at the opposite end of the spectrum, but thats probably more to do with them being our main rival and lots of brew fans instigating a lot of the mayhem.

p.p.s. the Brewers draw roughly 10,000 more fans per game than the twins so far this year. and we have one winning season in the last 15. you guys have like 5 division titles this decase and you still draw 25k per game? that is absolutely postively PATHETIC.

The "baseball experience" is far better in places like Milwaukee and KC because of the ballparks and their ammenities.  No doubt.  I wonder how you'll be explaining this after 2010 though (brand new ballpark baby!).

Ahhh, thanks for reminding me of that..  It's good to be a Twins fan.

well, some of it will probably be due to a Twins home game or two getting snowed out and them having to play in a stadium with a retractable roof (ala the Indians last year).

Ahhh, thanks for reminding me of that..  It's good to be a Twins fan.

so you concede that the minneapolis area is full of people that could care less about sports that dont involve a puck?

Everyone who hates the American League is just jealous that it is so much better than the National League.  The Lineups are better, the pitching is better, and the teams are overall better than the ones in the National League.  you should pass the toke around instead of just bogarding it.  it's really clouding your judgement

Hahaha, no no, only that I've been treated to better baseball for awhile.  Though I'm sure there are plenty of people here that do care far more for hockey which would make your claim valid.  Hey, if you go back 20 years I believe the Twins were among the tops in baseball in attendance.  Go back 10 years and I'm sure they're right near the bottom.  The ownership here wasn't even trying to compete in the mid 90's to early 00's (think Marlins, but without the good fortune), which of couse alienated the fan base here and even led to the contraction talks.  People have been making their way back out to the games though as the Twins have made efforts to field a competitive team.  I fully expect the new stadium to be a big boost as well.  I think it's fair to say Miller Park has been for the Brewers organization and their attendance.
