colt brennan was drafted by the redskins, so we all knew where he's headed, but it looks like it didn't take long for the top undrafted warriors to sign free-agent contracts. the honolulu advertiser is reporting the following:

WR davone bess signed with the miami dolphins
WR ryan grice-mullins signed with the houston texans
WR jason rivers signed with the tennessee titans
OG hercules satele signed with the arizona cardinals

Looking forward a couple of years; and assuming that the three WR's do NOT get traded and DO manage to stick, I think I see ONLY Jason Rivers looking at a possible sweet ride.

The Dolphins, Texans, and those inept Cardinals won't be that much fun to play for.  It'll be nice for DB and RG-M and HS to be in the NFL, sure; but I just don't think their teams will provide much of a thrill ride, whereas the Titans might just get it together...playoff wins perhaps...a much happier ride for Jason.

Colt could have some fun time with the Skins; although having to fight uphill versus the Giants and the Cowboys will be a pretty big task for Washington over the next couple of years.

C-Hawks, It would have been sweet to see Bess in Seattle.  We can only wonder who will be throwing the ball in Miami with the shake-up going on down there.

It is amazing that Bess did not get drafted with all that he brings to the football field, the man is such a competitor.

Kanaka, it has to do with his jail time.  The NFL is a bunch of hypocrites, Bess has been branded and he does not deserve it.   He has the play making ability when the game is onthe line to make the NFL.   The Run N Shoot has been branded a system, yet the Patriots, the Rams, and several other teams run it .  Of course in the NFL it is taboo to call it the Run And Shoot.   (Yes I know, STUPID!)

Look at the Pats last win in the NFL, Gumbell was Yelling " Oh My God!  They have five wide-receivers out there!" into the mike.

My question is what is the test to be a NFL game play by play announcer?  (A true mystery.)

See Bess, see Bess run, see Bess crack the starting line-up in Miami while getting paid the league minimum or close to it.   See Bess get a fat contract down the road.
