Ok folks lets get some opinions on this subject and perhaps give us something else to dwell on during the off season. I remember Coach Stewart making the statement during a press conference THAT HE WANTED TO PLAY NOTRE DAME. That the Irish would not play in Morgantown though and that WVU would have to play in another stadium, i.e. Parkersburg or other.
My question is WILL COACH STEWART GET HIS WISH??
Several factors are involved here that makes me have to choose the of SLIM POSSIBILITY. Also in regards to that answer I would have to say if it did happen it would have to be in a non BCS bowl game and not as a regular season scheduled game.
I am going to post the tentative schedule of the Irish below up thru the year 2016 below. I commented on the other thread titled "ANOTHER REASON TO HATE ND" that there was a deal in the works to get the Irish to play a min of 2 Big East teams on a yearly basis to beef up the teams scheduled games. You might note that of ALL the Big East teams that are NOW being scheduled that THREE (SYRACUSE, LOUISVILLE and WEST VIRGINIA) are not reflected. We know Coach is 55 and by 2016 he will be in the early 60's, so what do you feel are his chances of getting his wish. Remember this IF Notre Dame has a great season and WVU does also in that same year, the Irish gets the pick over WVU which bowl they wish to attend over the Mountaineers. Below is the Irish schedule, so tell me folks what to you think on this subject:
