It looks to me as though the but end is shot up towards his face. That to me would be considered a spear. ANY attempt to hit someone with the but end of the stick is considered a spear, correct?

I would agree with you if he attempted to throw his blocker out there in the way but it didn't look like that is what he did.

Also, I'm glad someone brought it up earlier in this thread. But for as much stick work Turco was doing tonight, what Ozzie did just evened things out a bit. It seemed like Turco was going after anyone who came within inches of the blue.

I have stated I don't know what happened earlier in the game, I only saw the last few minutes. BUT you are justifying Osgood's action for retaliation BUT then condem Robeiro for his retaliation. You can't have both.

I had to miss the game but I got the scores from a cell phone once in a while but it really didn't make up for not watching the game. Nowhere near it. I'm hoping to see a highlight of the Ribiero/Osgoode slash or whatever because it sounds like its a little something i missed that I might want to see.

Forgot to mention, at my high school dance, I met a Penguins fan and we talked for a while, seems to me like he was nervous to meet Detroit in the finals IF it came down to Pens. Vs. Wings. It always nice to know that other teams' fans are intimidated by the wings. idk though, has anyone else been watching the pens/flyers games? or the pens/ranger? they really looked GOOD. The Evgeni Malkin/Sydney Corsby connection is working for them. But nothing can dissolve the Datsyuk/Zetterberg chemistry.
