Please give him a SAG award.

I've never seen acting from anyone like I did from LeBron James tonight. The alleged "flagrant foul" that he took from Sam Cassell was some of the greatest acting on a basketball court that I've ever seen in my life.

Replays clearly showed that Cassell got some ball and then LeBron's shoulder on the foul. But LeBron goes to the floor, spits out his mouthpiece, and keeps checking his lips for blood as if he had been whacked in the face.

Replays clearly showed nobody hit LeBron in the face.

What a way to play to the officials to get calls going your way... or at least try to. He got a flagrant foul called out of it. So it worked. It wasn't even a hard foul. It was a grab on the shoulder. That's all it was.

I consider myself to be a huge LeBron James fan, but I lost some respect for LeBron tonight. I consided him to be "the next Jordan" that we've all been waiting many years for before tonight. But if you are going to act like you were hit in the face to try to get calls... I have no respect for that, and would much rather consider him to be "the next Ginobili" before I consider him the next Jordan any time soon. Jordan never did anything like that.

I say be a real man. An athlete. Not an actor. Take the foul. Shoot your free throws. You don't need to act, but apparently LeBron does.

I'm surprised that he pulled that crap in the game tonight, but I imagine there are plenty of Wizards' fans that weren't surprised. It's sad when a player of his caliber resorts to doing those things. Jordan never did it, and Kobe Bryant would never do that either.

Oh! Maybe LeBron through that he is now playing basketball in the era without TV broadcast, no replay will show.......... This is really unprofessional, like those soccer players in Europe - only a little body impact but the whole body flied to 10 feet away..........and drew a foul from the opponent................
Come on man! You're the KING, assume to be........

James does that a lot where he gets some contact and then it's a show of checking his mouth to see if he's bleeding, or grabbing his wrist, or gritting in pain, etc.  I never respect that sort of play.  It's okay if you get smashed to the floor to take a second to get up, but this guy is like 6'10", 250 or something like that, and little old Sam Cassell can make him feel pain like that?  Ain't buying it.

I agree LeBron James was doing some serious acting after that foul by Sam Cassell.  There is no way that was a flagrant foul because Cassell got the ball before the shoulder.  James' acting job swayed the refs on that call.

LeBron James is an incredible player but he will never be Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant because he is so big.  He can not drive and cut between and around defenders like Jordan did and Kobe does because he is so big.  I also think LeBron is not as quick and fast as Jordan and Kobe.

I was disappointed that Lebron had such an off night and so did Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.  The Celtics and the Cavaliers played some tough defense but there was some plain old bad offense played as well.  The Cavs had a great chance to steal a game in Boston last night but Lebron could not score.

I have a feeling we will see a big improvement in scoring in the next game.  I will be rooting for the Cavs to steal the next game.

Hey, Lebron did get whacked in the face. By the basketball court when he dove into it himself. I watched the replay a couple times and you could clearly see Casell didn't even come close to his head. Lebron whipped his head back and dove into the floor. What a loser. Glad to see Garnett step up and play well.

Dude you are ridiculously biased.  Sam Cassell horse-collared Lebron.  This is an automatic 15 yd personal foul in the NFL.  Obviously it should be a flagrant.  Lebron reacted because he is so much stronger than these children that if he doesnt the refs dont bother calling anything.  Lebron gets fouled and no called way more than Jordan and Kobe because he muscles through.  However, he absolutely should react to demonstrate obvious flagrant fouls that the refs miss--certainly if it affects his shot.  Posey fouled him on the last layup miss, but Lebron didnt react because it did not effect his shot in any way.  Plus the "over-reaction" to the play he was hit in the face was him having to pull his head band out of his eyes.  Your complaints are biased and ridiculous.

Having said all that the game was pretty fairly called.  The refs, I thought called a charge on Lebron where Pierce wasnt really set.  And similarly, Variejo drew a "charge" from someone that was not a charge.  The rest of the stuff was just normal misses but they went both ways and the refs let them play.

You are missing the mark.  Lebron whipped his head back to illustrate that he was being horse collared.  Cassell grabbed and pulled the back of his jersey.  That is what was flagrant about the play.  not what happened prior to that.  THat is not a basketball play, does not involve a play for the ball and should not be tolerated.  It is not Lebron's fault that due to his being physically superior, the refs cant see the fouls if he doesnt react.
