now that shockey seems to be a dead duck what now -

	I thought for sure we had a good shot a Shockey but now he seems to be a dead duck in the water. What now ? do we try to get someone else? Do we just be happy with what we have? 	I wish we could get Lito but we will have the same problems as we did with schockey. We dont have enough to give up. Plus after drafting porter they might not want Lito nomore

	Since this offseason began I have been saying we should have went after Lito Sheppard harder than we went after Jeremy Shockey. It just seemed like he would help us out a lot more. I would still like him but now it would cause more problems. First would have to carry six CBs McKenzie, Gay, Porter, Young, Sheppard and David because it would cost to much to cut him. The best situation I could see is us moving someone to safety (most likely McKenzie because of the surgery or Gay because he played it in NE) and trading David to someone who plays a Cover 2 defense. That would leave us with four good corners.

	you're going to run into the same problem with David that you would Henderson, sub-par play=little to none trade value, face it we're stuck with david this year, I personally think he'll play better,but i think as far as trades go, we're done with any stellar ones, we may trade for back-ups and such, but i don't think we;ll be able to get any blockbuster starters
