We need Figgins and Kendrick more than ever.  It is clear to me Gary Matthews is near worthless at the plate. If only they had such a thing as defensive DH.

What is Juan Rivera doing on the bench, when I know he can be a productive hitter. He hasn't done well thus far, but more at-bats are needed.

Let's salvage 1 game in Tampa!

Well, we really laid an egg in this series.  It seems that our multitude of injuries are starting to catch up to us.  Figgins really is key to our offense.  Lackey coming back on Wednesday should be a nice pick-me-up for the team. 

Thankfully, it is still early in the year and we are in better shape than many of us thought we might be in at this point given our #1 and #2 pitchers being out thus far into the season.  Hopefully, Kendrick and Figgins don't miss too much time.  Hamstrings are tricky pain-in-the-ass injuries and I would rather miss these guys for an extra week than for extended time late in the year.
