	Runners on first and second with no outs and can't score. Kelly Johnson fails to lay down the bunt and Escobar hits into the 6-4-3 double play. We lose in the bottom of the 9th because of that. Thats what happens when you can't play fundamental baseball and fail to execute the basics. We deserved to lose that game. Hopefully we can do something tomorrow against one of the worst teams in baseball. Sorry just blowing off a little steam

	The way the Braves play on the road is beyond frustrating. They never get the things done that they need to. They just do not execute! I hate this! This sucks!

	It is frustrating but remember they won their last 6 games. The Pirates may have one of the worst records in the game but they are still a good team.

	really expected infante to come in and bunt the runner to second instead of letting norton hit.. but your right, failing to lay down the bunt ultimately cost us the game.. all the great pitching in that game and it came down to missing a bunt, thats just not right

	I believe it is time for a shake up. I personally say flip flop Kotsay and Johnson and see what that does. Bobby should also have every single one of them out there tomorrow practicing their bunting. -BC10 Chipper-4-MVP

	Hopefully we can do something tomorrow against one of the worst teams in baseball. If you are lucky you will split the series. We're starting three straight lefties against you. I'd say, the bucs will take three of four from you. Which would put the Pirates at 18-20, hardly the worst team in baseball.

	That's exactly what is on my mind GatorsFan311. Frustration and truth make for a disheartening combination. After Kelly's 1st fouled off bunt (for strike 2) I found myself getting mentally prepared for the Braves to go for an RBI with a 2-out hit. We couldn't even set ourself up for that. KJ looking at called strike 3 (questionable call, but too close to take) pretty much set the tone/momentum for the Pirates. Getting out of a jam with a DP and not having to face Chipper: set the stage for the loss. I'm pullin' my hair out right now.

	*its baseball, it happens.* Well, you can say that and it's true but ............. Fundamentals are just that FUNDAMENTAL!!! When you lose the game because someone makes a great play or gets a big hit..............that's baseball. When you lose a game because you can't execute the simple fundamentals of the game............that's unacceptable.

	lion, i didnt say THE worst team. I said ONE of the worst teams. Theres a difference. Plus, just because you have three lefties going against us doesn't mean anything. We beat Johan Santana, who is hands down the best pitcher in the game today, and last time I checked he was left handed.
