stick you are definitely the coolest cat on the board... that is my favorite post ive ever read... and yes, i try to catch it every night, at least as much as i can if i dont get the whole thing
You know it's not at the top of the priority list when you can only get 14 votes. I hear the lead story late tonite is going to be about Little Johnny's marble shooting contest.
I miss the good old days. I think the anchors of today are well below what those of yesteryear brought to the show. With so much stuff on the internet and the 24-hour coverage of sports news, I find it almost pointless to tune in. I watch the baseball tonight and college gamenight stuff, but rarely do I sit down and watch a full episode of Sportscenter. I think it's been years since I have, now that I think about it. Maybe I'm in the minority.
Maybe just to catch some important highlights from games I might have missed, but its not on a need-to-watch basis.
imo, way too much NBA, not enough NHL hockey (ITS THE FREAKING STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS, JUST BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO LOWBALL THE NHL AND THEY WENT TO VERSUS, DOESN"T MEAN YOU HAVE TO IGNORE IT, sorry end of rant), too much focus on athletes personal lives, not enough emphasis on real sports news. I like the FSN final score better. It has more sports.

But the show has just gone down hill, they constantly pound the same stupid news down your throat. As far as I'm concerned Roger Clemens and his drug/adultery problem has nothing to do with sports anymore. They are just way too repetitive. I don't normally watch it now anyway because it is all baseball....
Only until the two talking heads chase me away. Those guys used to write pretty well (Washington Post), but then TV exposure turned them into what we are (avoiding) seeing now.
