You beat me to it UFGATOR07. I was just about to post the same thing. All major violaters were kicked off the team, and DB Avery Atkins isn't even alive anymore, which is unfortunate. That guy had alot of potential.

Makes me proud to back a team that never has off the field issues. Never? C'mon now, there have been plenty off LSU players to have off the field altercations

BED everything has been dealt with an according punishment. You don't have to kick a player off the team for everything. Jeez.

All major violators were kicked off the team?  Great.  Super.  Outstanding.  My point is there's a disturbing pattern with FLORIDA players since winning the title.  I stand by that position regardless of whether or not charges were dropped or players were eventually booted.  Whether you want to admit it or not, there's smoke... and that means there's probably a fire.

And remember... I'm a Bengals fan so I know about glass houses and sh*t.

BED, I'll be the first to say that our boys aren't exactly lining up to take communion on Wed night and Sundays. But let's be honest about Meyer. He has dealt with these kinds of infractions swiftly and fairly. Have a nickel bag of dope? Suspension and no more chances. Get in a fight? Suspension and no more chances. Break the rules again? See ya!!!! Do something above and beyond the normal college kid brain farts? See ya!!!!!

I will put the morals of my coach up against ANY coach in the NCAA. There's fire on every team. But do you handle it like Jimmy Johnson at Miami, Bobby Bowden at FSU, or Meyer at UF who has not let a single major violator even set foot on the field again? Most other coaches in the country would have taken the pee test for their best DT, just to keep him eligible. Meyer gave him a program to follow. Not just a random test here and there, but 4 counseling sessions a week, drug tests, and 'community service' for the team. And when Manson said it was too tough, he was gone. Tell me again how crooked Meyer is....?

Well, the charges against Joiner being dropped might have been because of the death threats the owner of the impound lot was receiving.

Just saying is all

He'll be kicked off the team.

Not so sure why you went out of your way to call out Meyer though. He's kicked a few players off the team.

The owner told the cops that night that it was okay, but they still arrested him. Gainesville cops are a joke, more so than the towing companies. I have been towed there 4 times, and twice they had to give me my car back because they had no right to tow it. Crooks, all of them.

Whats that 12 felony charges filed in one year? I don't think any one is confusing fla to FSU. Even Preston P is getting his charges down to misd. I bet this loss will pull down that great gpa/grad rate. Ship him north he will fit right in on Tennessee Street.

First of all I think this is disgusting, but I think that Joe Haden (the dead girls boyfriend) and the girls parents should be asked if they know something.I think that it's kind of strange that six months this card was being used. Somebody has to be getting the bill. After about two months the credit company cuts off access to the credit.

Living in America, we know that everyone should be considered innocent until proven guilty. He may be guilty(probably is), but he may not be the only one, and his part in this whole thing may not be quite as deep is it seems.

As far as punishment goes. I thing he should be suspended indefinately until all of the facts come out. After that I think that Urban Meyer will do the right thing and boot him from the team. The NCAA should also step in and take away his remaining eligibility so he can not play elsewhere.

The owner also called the cops and reported the car was stolen.  He changed his mind only AFTER he learned who the criminal was.  Regardless of whether the carges were dropped or not, Joiner stole a car and Meyer, the school and the NCAA did nothing about it.  Am I the only one that sees something wrong with that?
