A few thoughts.

First, I will take the plunge and speak for everyone on this board and say I don't think anyone here cares to compare BSU to BYU or OU or the WAC to the MWC.  It is old, stale and irrelevant.  For a couple of low-lives it is the only thing they can talk about (besides shooting off insult after insult to everyone on the board).  Everyone else is an idiot for not agreeing that their team is the unequivocal best despite the fact neither of their so-called "great" teams have defeated BSU (a combined 0-3) - hmmm, I guess we are all idiots eh for not drinking their Kool Aid?  On top of that, one of them has the audacity to act like a victim and state that they didn't do anything to initiate the same type of comments that they have been relentlessly doling out for months on this and other boards.  This comment after months of insults to Tim-meh, Blue Spud and others who contribute "real" information only to have (as Perfect stated) to deteriorate to pointless threads. 

Then I was called a troll by a regular poster for responding in the exact same manner that these two have been relentlessly doing for months.  Well, personally, I am sick of seeing people whose opinions I want to hear driven off the boards by people who have not contributed an interesting or relevant point in months.  Or for those who encourage these two with 5 stars ratings on their idiotic comments should clue in and realize that they are contributing to the deterioration of this board.

Hey, I would love to debate and learn about OU tradition or why BYU might be the best mid-major but it is clear that these two are unable to contribute that type of information about the two teams they follow.  Instead one is a racist and the other would like to spend his time telling people about his religion or telling everyone how stupid they are for not being MWC/BYU supporters despite most on this board are (if the kids this guy supposedly teaches saw his anonymous posts I am sure they would be discussed by a him.  Remember, this is from someone who is suppose to be guiding youth not being an online child - maybe he should realize that he is representing his school/employer and he is doing it so poorly with his constant verbal diarrhea that he should feel ashamed of himself - I am being serious).  The other has an excuse; he has never read a book that isn't three-dimensional with movable parts.  It is one thing to state this team sucks but to move in the realm of racism makes you the lowest, most ignorant kind of person this country has ever spawned.  People wonder how 1935 era Germany manifested into social, moral, and political Satan - well, look no further than our OU buddy and his screwball beliefs. 

Ok so there's an elephant in the room and no on will talk about it.  So I will...

In the Fiesta bowl, Boise State did not win by luck. 

They won because they outplayed and outcoached OU.  Not by much, but then that's the way it has been since the NCAA did away with ties.  One break, not luck, and to the victors go the laurels.  Good teams make their own luck.  Boise did it with great coaching and picture perfect execution.  When it got down to crunch time, Boise fought, hard, pulled out all the stops and executed some great plays.  Ballsy coaching and gut it out play won the game.  (there, I've said the same thing about 3 different ways.  I'm running out of clever phrases so...)

OU has lost the last three bowl games for the exact opposite reason Boise won.  Stale coaching and a complete lack of execution.  It wasn't until the final 20 minutes of the greatest game I've ever seen that OU came to life and played with fire.  They showed no fire against USC or WVU.  None.  No heart, no drive, no desire.  And it showed in the final score. 

I refuse to be ashamed of our BCS bowl losses to LSU and Boise.  Both games were played hard and came down to the wire.  I am ashamed of OUr performance against USC and WVU.

Now that I've chased the elephant out of the room, resume normal programming.  That mean hwcbn can go back to his inanity and the rest of us can appreciate that for a middie to make it to a BCS game requires far more than a major has to accomplish (undefeated!) and for them to be 2-1 in those games says alot about the quality of the teams they field.
