Ryan Perrilloux has been kicked off the team for LSU. What are you're guys thoughts on this? I think it gives us a better chance at beating them this year. I dont know who the backup is though.

I think we had a good chance to beat LSU with or without Perrilloux. This should mae it easier. Kudos to Les Miles for finally doing the right thing.
How long before $aban calls Perrilloux and offers him a scholarship?
WDE!

I think it is a shame that a kid with so much hope and the chance to possibly play in the NFL has to go down the wrong road. Guidance is what this kid needed.

Yeah I agree.... although its sad to see, it gives AU a little better chance to win the west.... you never know though the way LSU recruits. Word on the street is, their next QB is gonna be a RS Freshman

You remember when 'fans' booed Brandon Cox earlier this year and the entire team got pissed off about it? People do not do that, get mad for you, if you're not a leader. A real leader, not one just by title. A leader on and off the field.
Ryan Perrilloux was NEVER a leader. He did not get it. I hope that he does one day. Kids' still young.

I like I said before and I'll say it again. "You could very well see the Iron Bowl determining who's going to represent the West in the SEC Championship". Its more than something to look out for its the future. Whats sucks the most is you guys want be able to beat Alabama when it really matters. All those years of defeats under your belt and your not goin to be able to clinch the one that leads to the SEC CG!!!! You Barners got heart!!!

Even without their QB, LSU will still whoop you Tuscalosers and my prediction is if AU gets the offense going fast, plus the fact that beating a overrated WVU team, AU will be set up to be a NC contender.
SEC Championship Game: Auburn vs. Georgia (barring they can handle that brutal schedule)

PERRILLIOUX WAS L.S.U.s ONLY Q.B. WITH A LICK OF EXPERIENCE.THEY DO HAVE A TRUE FRESHMAN THAT HAS TALENT BUT IT WILL NOT BE ENOUGH FOR THEM TO WIN THE WEST.THEY ARE ABOUT TO EMERGE (BACK) IN TO A MIDDLE OF THE PACK TEAM UNTILL THEY HIRE A SEC QUALITY COACH.IF TUBERVILLE,SABAN OR EVEN PETRINO HAD AS MUCH TALENT AS LAST YEARS LSU SQUAD THEY WOULD HAVE BREEZED THROUGH THE SEC.NEXT YEARS IRON BOWL WILL PROBABLY GIVE US THE WESTERN CHAMPION...

doggysmaster....
First of all I'd like to congratulate you on another big A-day victory in front of 78,200 (2nd highest in school history). Those numbers are very impressive! I know it must have been an electric atmosphere!
Second, I'm wondering where ya'll are going to pick up the 6-7 conference wins the west champ usually has/needs to make the conference championship game?? Road games at Arkansas, UGA, UT, and LSU make it tough enough without having to play us at Tommy Tuberville Field at Jordan-Hare West Stadium. I don't see Sarah Jessica Parker leading ya'll to a 6-2 conference record with this schedule. Good luck with that and enjoy your visit to the SEC's newest bowl, The Papajohns.com Bowl in your second home, Legion "Where the Bear Roams" Grey Monster Field in Birmingham. What will the Bamer Nation due when the 7th straight is dropped??
Alabama 2008 Schedule:
Aug. 30 -- vs. Clemson (at Atlanta)
Sept. 6 --- vs. Tulane
Sept. 13 -- vs. Western Kentucky
Sept. 20 -- at Arkansas
Sept. 27 -- at Georgia
Oct. 4 --- vs. Kentucky
Oct. 18 -- vs. Ole Miss
Oct. 25 -- at Tennessee
Nov. 1 -- vs. Arkansas State
Nov. 8 -- vs. LSU
Nov. 15 -- vs. Mississippi State
Nov. 29 -- vs. Auburn
As for LSU, I think they are not going to quit with the loss of this guy. I think they're probably smart enough to have seen this coming. Road to the championship game still goes through Auburn on Sept. 20th vs. LSU.

Its gonna be tough your right, but make no mistake Nick Sabans proven record shows his second seasons are always much better. I think our team is progressing more than you barners care to realize. Your hopes rest in this new bogus offense and kodi burns. What if Kodi gets hurt, hmmm. He is a dual threat isn't he??? Dual threat QB in the SEC first year, lets see if you barners can keep your savor from the sidelines. While I said the Iron Bowl is going to decide who represents the SEC West. I can only mean that for this year and maybe the next, because you guys have no one coming in this year. I understand why you guys hate Nick Saban so much and call him satan. Just know this I too would be pissed if someone was taking all of our possible players. This class that is coming in this year will be here when we go back to play for the NC. You Barners are just like LSU and honestly something is going have to change now for you guys if you want to secure your future. Here is another prediction, Tommy Tupperware will leave or be fire during Nick Saban's reign at Bama. Oh and BTW, we play LSU at LSU not at home, even tougher now, huh...........

Doggy,
Who's being cocky? I think it is you my friend!
make no mistake Nick Sabans proven record shows his second seasons are always much better.
Nick Saban's "proven" record also shows that he has a losing record against Tommy "Tupperware." So this just shows that Bama will win more games this year (which is fine with me), but you will also lose to us "barners" yet AGAIN (which is also fine with me)!
Your hopes rest in this new bogus offense and kodi burns.....lets see if you barners can keep your savor from the sidelines.
No one has called Kodi the "savor"
Here is another prediction, Tommy Tupperware will leave or be fire during Nick Saban's reign at Bama.
Your boy Nick coached at Michigan State from 1995-1999, LSU 2000-2004, Dolphins 2005-2006. Hasn't stayed a head coach anywhere longer than 4 years so he'll be gone after the 2011 season for sure! Bama fans will be screaming for legalization of human cloning to bring back Bear!

Take it easy on Doggy. He's still upset that only 78,000 showed up for the spring game, but 82,000 watched LA-Monroe whoop their butts last year. Don't worry, we'll avenge that loss for you. BTW Doggy, your spelling hasn't improved a bit.
