Recruiting update 5/08/08

Nick Kasa (DE)- He is one of the top DE's in the Nation. He has made his Final 3, Florida, ND, Colorado. He said all three are great schools. Another School might come back into it but as of right now These are the 3 schools. He likes all 3 schools for different reasons. Florida- Well he said it was the coolest place ever. Not a good sign. Campus is great. Colorado- Its only 15 min from home. He might want to play close to home. ND- Academics are great. Bright Future. Also, even through its not close to home his family can watch him every week on TV. Loves the Tradition.

Anthony LaLota (DE)- He is Stocktons Teammate. Good Sign. He loves ND. I will say we have a 90% of landing him.

Manti Te'o (LB)- This would be a great pick up. If we get him on Campus I think ND has a great shot. Keep your eye on him.

Carlo Calabrese (LB)- One of the Top LB's. He would be a great pick up. I am hearing some good news from him. I think ND has a 80% of getting him. He likes Weis alot.

E.J Banks (CB)- Out of all the CB's that we are going after he is our best chance right now.

Great post, Purguy....like to know about some of the other recruits that we are after like Xaiver Nixon, Shaq Evans, Marlon Brown, Eric Shrive, Jonathan Bartlett, and Isaac Holmes

Also, seeing that the top 3-4 QB prsopects have now committed somewhere already, is it a distinct possibility that Coach Weis skips a year in recruiting a QB and waits for next year, or is there one that is off the radar that no one has seen
