You realize that Wrigley Field is just within a 10 mile radius of US cellular.....
As for what to do in Chicago, it depends on how old you are and what you are looking for.... If you are 21-25, then go to Cubby Bear and Rush and Division (also, Rush and Division would be a pretty good spot if you are staying in a hotel downtown). If you are 26-35 and looking for the "hipper" scene, Bucktown or Wicker PArk may be the way to go.
There are plenty of places to drink in Wrigleyville after the game, all filled with Cubs fans. Personally, on a nice day, after teh game I like heading down to Sheffield's. they have a nice outside drinking area. But you should hit Murphy's or Sports Corner either pre or post game. A good old fashion bar hop may be just what you need (although, its going to be packed - there is something ot be said about finding a table.)
If you are in town for the whole weekend, there are plenty of music venues (or just bars that feature bands) if that's up your alley. I've always liked Schuba's, the Double Door, and Abbey Pub.
As far as restaraunts go - it all depends on what you want to spend, but for late night grub, The Golden Apple Diner in LAkeview, Flash Taco in Bucktown, and Five Faces on the Gold Coast were my 3 staples when I used to get drunk in the city.
Try these websites: metromix.com for Chicago or chireader.com. It may be able to give you a better indication of what you want, and tell you want events are going on the weekend you'll be here.
