San Antonio Spurs will bounce back as they did. Look forward to Game 4 and hopefully tie the series, 2-2! That'll be a great series indeed!

This was the best game of the 2nd round. Lot of lead changes through 3 qtrs, some big shots in the 4th, solid defense. Hornets played much better than game 3 vs DAL.
Ginobili's 4-pt play was the big one.

Spurs held serve, as most predicted (me, too) to narrow the gap to 2-1. Without this win it would've been out of reach. I see the Hornets coming back for 3-1 lead after game 4. Hornets played much better than game 3 in Dallas; appear to be settling into a groove in the playoffs.
Great play from Ginobili and Parker got them back into this series for now, but I don't see it lasting much longer. The Spurs are a great team, but I see the Hornets or Lakers representing the West this year.
We'll see after the next game in San Antonio. Nothing should be decided after game 4, unless the Hornets duplicate their success in game 4 vs. Mavericks and during the final game at San Antonio in '08.
Have always liked the Spurs and their gutty performances during recent years. Just cannot see them making it 5 in 10 yrs this year.

This was a great game. It was expected that the Spurs would treat this game as a Game 7, because if the Hornets went up 3-0, it was all over. I just wish the game was closer in the final minutes, but San Antonio deserves all the credit for that. That play where Tony Parker made Jannero Pargo look like he was standing still (was he standing still?) was a great play. I never have really cared for Parker, but as the year's go by, I'm starting to like and respect him as a player more and more.
Look for these two powerhouses to duke it out in Game 4. It wouldn't surprise me if the winner of this series represents the West in the Finals.
On a side note: I also expect the Jazz and Cavaliers to get a win in Game 3. Or at the very least, make their game 3's much like this one was between the Spurs and Hornets. Close, until the very end.
Great game though, and I'm loving this year's playoffs. (other than all the whining)

I have to agree on that one ! Don't count the champs out yet ! I have to admit I was somewhat worried after game 2, but I'm glad to see them bounce back like the champs they are. GO Spurs GO !!!!

I knew it too! Because there was no way the NBA was going to let their "boys" get down 3-0 to an upstart team from New Orleans. Did anyone else notice that as the game got late into the 3rd quarter the refs turned it in to a free throw shooting contest for the Spurs? The Hornets are the far better team and will win this series but the nba will milk this for 7 games when in all actuality this should be a five game series. The spurs should just be thankful for the trophy they got last year after stern robbed the Suns by suspending amare.

cpinder,
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The NBA's boys aren't the Spurs, and the front office probably wants them to lose, because so many people consider them 'boring'. They get lower rating when they make the finals.

yeah i hope that Duncan and Parker can bring the Spurs back into this series and win it because i hate the Hornets..... i want to see LA and San Antoinio but realy even if LA plays the Hornets that will be a good game as well nd it dont matter cause the Lakers will beat either one of them haha...

Well then you are better tea-reader than me my friend. I wasn't comfortable until about 4 minutes to go! It was good to see Bowen on Peja, but I just don't think this will happen unless the Spurs can find a way to get the Hornets down to 40-45% shooting.
They nearly shot 50% in game 3, yet lost. Make no mistake the Hornets and Paul are for real - seems the big three understand that now.

The NBA would want the Hornet to win more than the Spurs. There's a much bigger market in New Orleans. Plus, there's a much better story if they win, because they went from not doing great last year, to being a | |
