MrSooner, name calling is only a one-way street. If BYU Backer does it, he is villified. What a jerk! However when someone who agrees with your skewed point of view on things calls someone like BYU Backer a name, it's funny. There is a whole bizarre psychology about it.

BA, thanks for sticking up for me. What's funny to me is that I wouldn't have anything but good things to say about BSU, if it wasn't for all the morons who just want to talk about BSU being better than BYU and the WAc being better than the MWC, etc. We should try it. I bet we could have some very interesting conversations from opposing viewpoints.

See now, Mrsooner, this statement refers to a pot calling a kettle black, thus Backer knows he too stirs up crap. As far as name calling, we aren't 4 years old, and I was only having as much fun as Byu. One thing I 100% agree with Byu is, some people take these boards way to serious. If people aren't happy about posts, don't read them. Maybe Craniallobe is right, we should have an ignore option. Even over on the UNLV threads, I sometimes get a small kick out of what YUB-Slacker has to say. Enjoy it, it's fun to debate your team vs. X team.

Soohell. You fear the ignore button don't you? You just gave me another great idea. CBS has the "favorite member" feature currently. With an ignore button we could also have the "most ignored member" feature. Anyone want to place bets on who that would be?

I agree Fosty. The non-BCS conferences lost all the momentum from the prior three years. Hawaii could be the saving grace for us all, time will tell.
And beating UCLA without a coach and numerous players in the last second by blocking a short field goal is definately NOT something to brag about. BYU is probably better than BSU this season (although I would have loved to find out on the field), but BYU is definately NOT better than Hawaii. I think Boise State would have beaten Air Force, Fresno State would have beaten New Mexico as well. From there down I think the MWC has it over the WAC. Nevada would have had a better showing against Utah (talk about two hot and cold teams this season), but the rest would have been sure losses for the WAC.
So once again, the top of the WAC is better than the top of the MWC. Deal with it.
There are many, many more examples but this post is long enough. Suffice it to say you have no interest in "reasoned discourse" and relish spewing your hate at anyone who would dare say Boise State has EVER been better than BYU. Your montra is about as old and worn out as Soohell's. Give it up, get a life, and move on (preferably back to your myopic BYU boards).

Hey, y'all, I just found this thread. First, let me say that I really do appreciate the lists that I appeared on. Makes me think I may actually be a good citizen on this board.
Let's see who my top 5 are:

Of course that's today. Tomorrow the list would include Prfct, Snake, BYU (even though I don't agree with him all the time, I don't plan on putting him on Ignore (if we ever get the danged buttons)), and a host of others.
See, the people I like to read, the folks that, if they show up on the top of the home page as having just posted, I go check them out, are the folks who can agree to disagree. The people that, while they are passionate about their team/position, they concede the point that others have the right to disagree. I like reading the folks can respect other programs, even cheer their victories, with out being nasty. I don't even care if your stats are a little off sometimes, because I know that your heart is in the right place. Passionate football fans, correction, passionate COLLEGE football fans, are a weird bunch, willing to argue for 500+ posts about which running back is the best all time guy.
(Sniff) I love you guys!!
Seriously though, I appreciate your tolerance of my intrusions and can't wait until OU and Boise schedule a home and home in 2015!!!!

Sooner, actually I think you're looking at a poll from last season. No way Hawaii is ranked 10th.
Cran, unfortunately you have to go back much further than December 2007 to show where that pissing match started. I tried reasoning with BSU fans for 2 years. By the time December 07 came around, I was pretty much done being reasonable. Sorry kiddo. Nice try though.

Ok, I have been away from the board a while so I am sure I have missed some things. Here are the top five things I am sure I missed.
1. BYOB Slacker found a reason to argue any point made by a BSU fan and inserted a BYU reference while doing so.
2. Mrs. Shell of his former self referenced the Big 12 or OU and may have even thrown in a Schnellenberger reference while completely defiling the english language when all he wanted to say was.."You dummy".
3. Fosty called someone a dummy and that someone didnt even realize it.
4. A real Sooner fan came in with a good post and distanced himself from a Hog fan with an identity crisis.
5. BA found a way to make a troll fell better about himself while letting all else know he thinks said troll is an idiot.
I havent read the whole thread but I did note I was on Fostys favorite read list. Thanks for the props Bro!
