I agree that it's odd to not be a big deal that they knowingly broke the rules in all but the superbowl and it's ok. The thing that concerns me the most is that when all this first started and tapes were sent to Goodell - he "destroyed" them a day later. Why??? What was on them that needed "destroyed" and, unless it was something horrible, how did he come to that conclusion so fast? The speed at which they were destroyed and the whole "we've taken care of the situation so lets stop talking about it" makes it all VERY VERY fishy to say the least. I understand the magnitude of consequences from the pats taping plays and walk thrus of games - and that's not even thinking about the aspect of gambling and money changing hands, because of the outcome of a game, in vegas alone. But the public deserves more than being treated like children and told "everything is ok now, don't worry about it"

I agree.  Everyone is allowed to be involved here, except the people who are actually paying for it all (the fans).  It is obvious enough, from the way that this is being handled, that there is a cover-up here.   I'd bet that Walsh has been paid-off to keep his mouth shut.

Fishy?  Dude, get a freakin life.  What in God's name do you think was on there that was fishy?  You are a complete idiot.  If you have a problem with the way the league handled this, go find another sport to be clueless about.  'Kay big guy.

You're the one who is clueless, if you think the league is clean on this issue.  It's boobs like you who the NFL is banking on.
