Let's face it, the Jazz have to win both games 3 & 4 if they are to have a chance. If they do win both games at home I have a feeling that they can get the confidence to win one in LA. So far it looks as if the Jazz should have held on to Derick Fisher because he is definately the clutch player of the 1st two games hands down. Win two at home so we can have a good series.

I agree. If the Jazz lose game 3 at home, their aura of invincibility is gone. Lakers blew them out by 11 earlier this year so we know the Lakers will have some confidence.

The Jazz would have LOVED to hold on to Derek Fisher, but in an extremely classy move by Larry Miller (Jazz owner) he let him out of his contract after last season so he could move to a city where his daughter could get proper treatment for an eye disease she had been diagnosed with during last years playoffs. Fisher found a hospital in LA, and the end result (in the eyes of many Jazz fans) is that he ditched the team to go and play for the Lakers (the team that EVERY Jazz fan loves to hate). That was why Kobe Bryant was so fired up when they played in SLC in March. The Jazz had booed Fisher in his first game back to SLC, in December, and Bryant saw kicking their *%$ in SLC as redemption. I'm not saying that what the fans did at that game was right (booing a guy that was a huge part of Utah's playoff run a year ago), but there was definitely a feeling of betrayal on the fans part after Miller had let him out of his contract. The Jazz end up with Ronnie Price as their back-up, instead of the guy who has been so clutch in this series.

**Beagamer we finally agree on something. The Jazz have to win at least one game in Utah for the series to be interesting. Which by the way is completely possible. As far as D.Fish, what would you do if you were the owner and one of your players had something like that happen? I think it would be a personal decision. He knew what he was losing and it probably killed him to do it. But that just shows you what a great person Miller truly is. He is a winner in my book. It did suck that Utah booed Fish but I understand there fustration. Even more so if they don't get out of this series. Fish is clutch. A great team player. He brings alot of experience to the table. Good call Shelly-B.

It made me so mad watching Derek Fisher knock down clutch shot after clutch shot against us after helping us last year. I think Larry Miller did the right thing to let him go, but he should have added a disclaimer that he couldn't go to the Lakers. If he has to move for his daughter than he should have to go play for the Clippers or in New York. Again, nice guys always finish last.

Dodgerbrad,

You gotta be kidding with the sweep thing right? This team lost only four games all season at the Energy Solutions Arena. It just may be Lamar sitting with 3 quick fouls instead of Boozer with the NBA's good ole' home cooking, I hope not though. I'm looking for the Lakers to take the split in Salt Lake City and it should be all but over, winning 3 of 4 will be too much for this talanted Jazz team.

BTW - I have nothing but the utmost respect for Larry Miller, win or lose he did the right thing he's a true sportsman not a fisherman, you know regarding fish............catch and release!
