So far it looks as if the Jazz should have held on to Derick Fisher because he is definately the clutch player of the 1st two games hands down.
The Jazz would have LOVED to hold on to Derek Fisher, but in an extremely classy move by Larry Miller (Jazz owner) he let him out of his contract after last season so he could move to a city where his daughter could get proper treatment for an eye disease she had been diagnosed with during last years playoffs. Fisher found a hospital in LA, and the end result (in the eyes of many Jazz fans) is that he ditched the team to go and play for the Lakers (the team that EVERY Jazz fan loves to hate). That was why Kobe Bryant was so fired up when they played in SLC in March. The Jazz had booed Fisher in his first game back to SLC, in December, and Bryant saw kicking their *%$ in SLC as redemption. I'm not saying that what the fans did at that game was right (booing a guy that was a huge part of Utah's playoff run a year ago), but there was definitely a feeling of betrayal on the fans part after Miller had let him out of his contract. The Jazz end up with Ronnie Price as their back-up, instead of the guy who has been so clutch in this series.
