Buy low on The Prince

I have  a chance at Prince Fielder in a trade for Matt Kemp & Joey Votto, Standard scoring with a little extra for HRs 14 team  H2H      Thinkin hard on this one ???

Holiday     &nb sp;      & nbsp;      OF

Bench  Salty, LaRoche, Blalock, Wood, Kendrick

I would look at it this way,  is Votto/Kemp in your lineup going to out-produce Fielder/???  for the rest of the season?  I think that you will gain in the HR department but may lose in the AVG and SB areas.  Runs and RBI will be close I think depending on who ??? becomes.  I am guessing that with 14 teams, the free agent list is pretty thin.

In your shoes, I don't think I would do it right now.  I love Fielder and believe he will have over 40 HR and 100 RBI and 100 Runs by the end of the season.  But who fills out your lineup, LaRoche??  Not much production there.  Plus Votto and Kemp will each produce pretty well for you and gives you an OF sub in case of injury which you won't have if both leave.

Just my thoughts on it. 

Until Fielder starts eating Red Meat again steer clear.

Kemp Votto will give better numbers across the board
