I can't vote. Too close to call. Looking at their comparative offensive stats, it's scary. Each has started about same # of games, their BAs are within four pts of each other. Almost carbon copies of each other except Napoli has twice the homers and Mathis more doubles. Each is serviceable behind the plate. Mathis a little quicker but still makes silly mistakes sometimes.
If it were me running the show, I'd platoon them all season. Both are relatively young guys who need the ABs and game experience to develop further. Then by the end of the year when each is hitting .300+, trade one of them for a couple of "can't miss" prospects. The Angels development program is so good that they'll turn "can't miss" prospects into future MLB All Stars within a couple of years. And we can debate this dilemma all over again. Great Fun!!
