One playoff win against the Colts and now the Chargers are the best team??? Don't get me wrong I think the Chargers should and have a great chance at making it to the Super Bowl next season...but you seem a little cocky for beating the Colts just one time in the playoffs...remember when the Bolts lost to the Patriots 2 years ago...who won it all?? Yeah the Colts did....

The Colts lost twice last season to the Chargers and we snapped their unbeaten streak the year before on my first daughters birth date 12-18-05. The Chargers OWN the colts. You can't rank them ahead. They are a better team and they would have beat the colts if Drayton Florence didn't blow it against the patty's in '06.

Listen man lineman win football games. Look at the vikes division. ok now look at their conference.ok. The Bears are in a state of I don't know what and the Lions will be the worst team in football this year. The lions will finish DEAD last in every offensove category. Their off. cord. Jim Collete is the WORST football coach on the planet. I watched him lose so many games when he coached Purdue. He is the worst. Another great millen move.

Thats all fine and dandy...but which team has won a Super Bowl lately...Like I said I think the Chargers will be a huge force this year...but until they win the Super Bowl or actually get there the Colts will and should be ranked ahead of them...

As for the linemen winning games...no...teams win games...and the QB is part of the team and without solid QB play the Vikings arent going to go far at all..period

Correct me if I am wrong, but was that not Shawn Merriam that was hit by Maurice Jones-Drew with the Jaguars win over the Chargers. If I am not mistaken the Jaguars basically controlled that game thoughout the whole four quarters and was it not Phillip Rivers that had 2 INTs and a 67 QB rating versus David Garrard that had 0 Ints and 114 QB rating,  LT was held to 69 rushing yards, while Fred Taylor had 85yrds,

So who is the one over rated, The Chargers play in the AFC West as the Jaguars play in the AFC South which one has more teams with above .500 record, which division had 3 playoff teams last year, should I go on, the Chargers were in the bottom third in most of the league for stats except rushing where they were 5th, Jacksonville was 2nd and the upper half the whole season. So give me another excuse why teh Chargers will do well this year.

king is a good writer, but his football insight is questionable, it seems like everything he predicts is wrong, and i dont see this rankings as a chance to improve that. i mean Vikings at number 7? is he crazy? they have tavaris jackson at quarterback!
