I just watched the Mariners get 2 hit by the Rangers and shut out, also saw them score 1 run in their last 13 innings....I have watched them all year and pulled my hair out all year....my old high school baseball team who had a .250 winning % has a better offense than the Mariners.....This team is bad.......I keep hoping it will turn around and they do stuff like this....I dont see them coming around, making the playoffs or even sniffing them for that matter....They may finish in last place.....Im done watching them for a while, please someone let me no if they ever start playing baseball

Remember everyone complaining about the starting pitching last year?...I would gladly take last years offense with no Bedard, honestly who cant agree with that

I havent been able to see many games this year but from what I have seen the starting pitching has been decent. Its the bullpen and the total lack of offense that is killing this team. Its got to wear down a starting pitcher to go 5+ innings throwing a good game just to watch the bullpen blow it. Wasnt it in Baltimore early in the season where they blew like 3 games straight? Then tonight the staff only gave up 2 runs but the offense only gets 2 freakin hits?

This team has the potential to be a contender. They just need something to pull their heads out of their backside and get it in gear. Maybe they just need a good ol fashioned locker room brawl.

They need to fire McLaren and call up Lou Brown.

I've been at or seen every game this season, and these guys stink.  They are getting close to being the worst team in baseball.  When Texas can make you look bad you know you have problems.

I can't believe this.  We make Vicente Padilla look like Nolan Ryan... Was Jose Guillen really that good?  I think maybe are veterans are just getting a little too old.  I don't know, I think eventually we will start playing well but we might be too far out for it to matter.  Felix better pitch a shutout tonight or else we'll lose.  Heck, we might still lose even if he does.
Go M's!!!

I was going to say, even if he does, we need to put a run on the board to win.

Can somebody tell me, why the hell Cario is still on the team? The guy is still 0 for the Season. Should have released him. Honestly, what does he bring to the table?

im sorry to say this guys but i think were going to have a long season ahead of us we even lost to texas which to me its just a huge blow to my ego....The Angels are good and they dont even have Lackey, and escobar ptiching and Anderson, guerrero, and mathews arent even hitting and now the Athletics are looking good too...unless we make something happen by the allstar break were going to be picking in the top ten of this years draft

Right now i would be happy to see us finish .500 at the end of the year... The way we are playing right now is just sad.

When it originally happened I thought the Cairo signing was worse that then Wilkerson signing.  Still not sure I wasn't right then.  I figure they signed him because they were worried about Lopez sleepwalking through another season like last season.  I hope they bring up LaHair during Richie's suspension - I'd like to see what he can do at this level.  And if he performs, let him take Cairo's roster spot......

last years first 3/4 of the seasons offense was an aboration, the September offense is about how this team really is offensively as they are proving this year, is Ichiro or Kenji ever going to take heat like Richie got or are they really that protected? Kenji doesnt belong in the bigs right now and Ichiro isnt hitting as well, I know he is hitting decent but not his normal self, usually struggles at the beginning of the season I know but when your teams is struggling your best player is suppose to step up and either play better or at least be a leader on the team and right now he does neither
