Good time for King to step aside; going out on top is always good.

The Hawks are a promising young team.   If they can solidify the ownership situation to gain some long term stability that will be a big step forward.   I also think they need some more bigs to complement Al Horford (who should have been ROY).  Hopefully, their young point guards like Law will develop quickly because I don't think Bibby is a good option for this team.  They need a passing/defending point guard more than a scoring point guard because the Hawks have plenty of scoring options.

Good time for King to step aside."  And not a moment too soon.  This is the clown who had a hand on passing on Chris Paul.  Need I go further?  The Hawks finally do have a promising future and hopefully will continue to build on this year.  Overall, this franchise is still a mess and the team could easily slide back down next year. With the ownerhship situiation still unsettled, the Hawks can only hope they get a GM who knows what he is doing.

alls i can say is Knight give the ATL 6years of hell
here is his great draft skills
03 Pick 21-Borris Diaw, i am fine with that
04 Pick 6 Josh Childress over Andre Iguodala
04 Pick 17 Josh Smith, again im fine with that
05 Pick 2 Marvin Williams, i am a UNC fan and i was crying when they did this he picked him over CP3 Derron Williams and Reymen Felton
06 Pick 5 Sheldon Williams over Randy Foye and Brandon Roye! again a 6-9forward OVER A PG or SG
07 Pick 3 Horford, still a 6-9/6-10 guy but he has some size, so i wasnt mad and then Pick 11 Acie Law, FINALLY A PG!
SO happy he is gone

with 10 picks, he had 3 1/2 good ones(Acie Law being the 1/2 because he isnt a 11 pick but they needed a PG)
i could have drafted better than that
no wonder they werent in the playoffs for 9 years
