I was at the Wachovia on Saturday and I followed Anthony Kim for a few holes.  He was very confident and he fired at all the pins.  He hits the ball a long way and when the putter is hot, he is deadly.  Quail Hollow is not an easy course and Anthony just tore it up.  I saw some of the best players in the world struggle with the 17th and 18th holes, but Anthony made them seem easy.  On Saturday, Kim made a routine par on the 17th and came up to 18 and took it apart.  He hit a 330+ drive, hit PW into the green to about 6 feet, when most players were hitting 7/8 irons, and he made birdie when only a few were made there all day.  He was fearless and it reminded me of Tiger.  He was focused and determined to win after coming up short a few weeks ago at Harbor Town. He also used the famous fist pump quite a few times this week.  Good luck to AK and Tiger better watch out cause this guy is a fighter.

i don't know about tiger watching out yet but yes, this kid is a hell of a player. most impressive to me was his focus and mental strength, especially on day four.

Whoa there buddy...let's not go there quite yet, he is not even in the same vicinity as Tiger, it was an impressive first victory, by a budding young star, but we've seen these guys before (aka: Garcia, Howell III, Donald, Scott, Baddely), and none of them even sniffed at Tiger's heels despite the huge expectations. Let's let him enjoy this victory and with some more work/experience, he may be able to compete here and there at the majors with the big boys.

I'm not saying he is on Tigers level, I'm saying there were glimpses of Tiger in AK on Sunday and Saturday. Good victory for him and I think he will be a great player.  He could  be a contender at the majors and I think he will win one here in the next year or two.  No one will be on Tiger's level at least not for a while.
