The jersey numbers for the Saints' 6 draft picks are as follows:

#90 -- Sedrick Ellis
#22 -- Tracy Porter
#72 -- DeMario Pressley
#77 -- Carl Nicks
#5 -- Taylor Mehlhaff
#87 -- Adrian Arrington

To see the entire new team roster including the 2008 UDFA's, visit the Saints website at: http://www.neworleanssaints.com/Team/Roster.aspx

WhoDatSay: The Joe Horn era is offically laid to rest as his #87 has been passed on to rookie Adrian Arrington (aka. Pocket Aces). Hopefully, the 7th-round pick can produce in a similar way to New Orleans' forgotten son... without the cell phone of course. Also, Carl Nicks inherits a former great's number (#77). While we doubt Nicks will ever anchor the Saints offensive line at left tackle as Willie Roaf did, we are just hoping for him to replace an unnamed lineman on the right side.

Noooooooooo....Tracy Porter has Fred Thomas' number, hopefully he can give us Saints fan a different perception of #22.

Carl Nicks is going to be wearing #77 huh?  Let's hope he at least half as good as Big Willie was for us.

Adrian Arrington is going to be wearing #87 huh?  I don't like this one.  Even though Joe Horn kinda left on a bad note....his jersey still needs to be hanging from the rafters of the Superdome.  Horn was/is arguably the best WR to ever suit up in the black and gold.

Marques Colston has helped a lot of us forget about ole Joe.

I'm pumped about Porter getting #22.  that has always been my favorite number but I could never get a customized jersey becaue of Fred Hwy22 Thomas.  I was not going to be seen with that jersey on.  Then when we signed Randal Gay, I got even more pissed bc he wore 22 in NE so I figured he'd take it here.  then people would think I'd be walking around with a Gay jersey.  I hope Porter is a beast so that I can get my jersey and walk around with my head held high.

Correct that, i got confused with Samuel in NE.  i'm dumb.  I was still worried that they were going to give 22 to Gay.
