Sounds right, 4th place in a weaker division. Just like kobe when he focused on 40+ point games.

Ouch is right Jeep. Even I thought he'd do better in the race but oh well. James still has plenty of time in his "illustrious" career to win MVP awards which Im sure he will do.

Heck, I'm shocked he got more love than Dwight Howard of the Magic.  438 total votes is still pretty respectable.  Now, can his team of inconsistent Cavaliers help him out?

Here's the voting:

Dwight Howard is not even close to the player that James is.  He is amazing for sure, but he can't take over the game, or lift his team on his shoulders and get the big win.  Did you see any of the Cavs v. Lakers games this year?  It was made very clear that he is the most valuable player in the league.  The playoffs will tell us a lot, I doubt Howard will be able to beat the Pistons single handedly like Lebron did last year.

Dwight Howard: 20.7 PPG / 14.2 RPG / 2.1 BPG / 59.9% FG%

LeBron James: 30.0 PPG / 7.9 RPG / 7.2 APG / 48.4% FG%

Best Center in the league & best Small Forward in the league.  Pretty comparable, if you ask me.

WOW! I thought bron would do better, you can see how much his team needed him. the cavs were a horrid 0-7 without him and he led the league in points. But don't worry you'll get you're time to shine. Kudos to Kobe, CP3 and KG though, you all had great years!

First....I'm a Cleveland fan, and didn't think LBJ should get it. To me, CP3 was the clear MVP.

Second, no El G, Dwight isn't as good as Lebron. Not close. Dwight is great, but LBJ is the most talented player in the league. LBJ gets about 10 more points, 6 more assists.....Dwight gets what, 6 more boards?

Somehow I don't think 6 rebounds = 6 assists + 10 points

Plus, LBJ has much more responsibility since he controls the ball so much. But that's another story for another day.

Sad to see CP3 didn't get it, but the MVP has been a joke since Nash and Dirk have gotten it.
