Another solid performance by a White Sox starting pitcher and this time the offense comes to life.  Anybody with speed in Center catches that ball.  Now, of course Floyd still had to face Justin Morneau but Gavin still might had have his no-hitter regardless.

Very good point, Snowcat... In a 7-1 game with a no hitter on the line how in the world can you not put Brian Anderson in for defensive reasons? Swisher tried his best, but he aint Brian Anderson in center.

It's a shame that he didn't get the best opportunity possible. But at least we got a win... feels like ages!

it was a great performance and fun to watch....It's a cool rush calling your friends after 8 tell them that Floyd has a no no, while my girlfriend makes fun of me.....the starting pitching has been awesome, and I was completely wrong about it !  I hope JD stays hot cuz he can really carry a club when he is.....

I couldn't agree with ya'll more.  What a great performance...  Lets hope the team builds off this last game...  And Sox Fans, win tonight, back in a tie for 1st..    So after a miserable road-trip, we still are only 1 game out!!

To expand on your point Scotty, this game can serve as a momentum builder.  Should the Sox sweep the series, the team is back in first place, and have confidence towards that dreaded trip to the West Coast.
