C'Mon!!!!!!!  I know you put a disclaimer in after the association had been made, but that is like Marvin saying he's sorry for shooting someone in the hand.  The point being we really don't know people like we think we do................I get that.  Ted Bundy?????  Shock and Awe....  Shock and Awe.....    As a day 1 Indianapolis Colts fan who looked away from the sneeky move and the horrible old man Irsay regime, all I have seen with Marvin is someone who gives 100% every snap.  Someone who works hard and doesn't play the media game.  Someone who has pride and cares about where he came from(maybe to a fault).  Someone who has always sat alone at the end of the bench whether he has 3 td's and 120yds or 2 catches for 12 yds.  I have probably only missed a couple of games since they moved to Indy and Marvin has given 100% of himself for that team.  I have his back as a fan.  If he shot someone in the hand, he made a mistake.  He should get his penalty.  He will always be my favorite Colt receiver of all time.  He will always be in my Colts top five all time players at number 2.  We love you Marvin.........hang in there.

Oh come on Prisco. Everyone knows Ted Bundy is a little worse than Marvin Harrison. I mean next you are going to compare Harrison to Bush & Hitler.

(f.y.i. Harrison is way better than Hitler & slightly better than Bush. Hitler never could go across the middle & Bush lacked top end speed.)

Carry on.

Somehow, I knew someone, or many people would overreact to the use of Ted Bundy  in this article.  Prisco CLEARLY states that he is not making that comparison.  Bundy is simply an example of someone who presented as the polar opposite of what he actually was.  Come on people!!!  Don't tell my you have never used an exaggerated example to make a point.

The only mistake Prisco made by making this reference was that he didn't realize that no matter how clear he was in his use of Bundy's example, people would still be bound and determined to interpret it the wrong way.  For those people it's like talking to a brick wall.

Just to be clear, I don't really think that these posts were made by "brick walls"......

Anyone know where Ray "Jazz Hands" Lewis was at that time?

The point I was trying to make has been made.  The people reacting to my post made it for me.  Seeing the Ted Bundy headline already puts a preconceived idea into the head.  Everyone assumes I have an overeaction.  It might have been better for Pete to use Ray Lewis as an example instead of Bundy.  He says that Bundy is a bad idea himself in the article.  He knows it is sensationalism and I am pointing out that he ought to be better then that.  I am not sheepishly defending my Colts sports hero.  Just trying to call out Pete.  He knew what he was doing.

I don't think the Ray Lewis comparison does the situation justice.  Lewis has always been a brash, showboating personality.  Certainly, if Harrison is involved in the way Lewis was, comparing the result fits, but it doesn't speak to the contrast in how Harrison carries himself and such an action.   The comparison that Prisco makes points out that someone who carries himself in a low key manner, or anyone for that matter, can be capable of things that are contrary to what we may think.

Granted, this is not a earth shattering revelation, but neverless true.  To be honest, the article really doesn't deserve much of a reaction at all.  I was more interested in reacting to the reactions.
