Hog's love our D-Mac--Great pick Raiders!

To all of you Raider fans,

I have had the great pleasure of watching Darren McFadden play for the Razorbacks and one thing is for sure; the Red and White jerseys that are everywhere here in Arkansas will turn Silver and Black as fast as they can make em'! Congrats to you at the Raider nation!

Here was one of my big problems not neccasarily with McFadden but with people over hyping his speed. Speed is great but is worthless if you dont have vision. If you dont know where the hit is coming from it is just as worthless. This is what made Marcus Allen great. LT is great for this fact too. Barry Sanders just about any running back that has made the Hall of Fame did it with more than just speed. Charlie Garner was a rocket but wouldnt wait for his blocking he would knock himself out running 110 mph right into the back of his guard. I hope DMAC has patience and corrects his fumbling problems. I dont want to see that gay carry style that Tiki Barber had neither.

DMAC could prove to be extremely valuable to Russel, the defense and the organization and he damn well better be for that high of pick and money and what the Raiders conceivable passed up to take him. Im tired of seeing bust picks in Oakland. They have to have one hit and I really believe its the philosophy that made them great than  is killing them now. The game has evolved and the Raiders havent. I believe in the bomb and the man to man defense. I believe in making the penalties worth while meaning hurt somebody. But speed only kills if you have other attributes to go along with it.

Whos how well DMac will do. We run the same blocking system that helped get Fargas 1000 yards rushing in less than a season. Sapp has already said that DMac is like Fargas only faster. That means that it is reasonable to think that DMac will get at least 1500 total yards starting every game and touching the ball 20+ times.

It's not that easy but it sure is a thought to keep in mind

First of all, that is one of the coolest Avatars I've seen on here.Val Kilmer played Doc Holliday perfect as to history presents him. "I'll be your Huckleberry" and "Well daisy if you do" were my favorite lines in the movie.

Anyways, one of Darren McFadden's biggest problems was that he had no Quarterback.He really carried Arkansas with the help of Felix Jones. The fact that everyone knew our quarterback couldn't throw the ball, and D-MAC still performed the way he did, is just to show you that he is dynamic. I really believe with what you had and what you got, McFadden is exactly where he needs to be.I was raised up on the coast watching the Raiders, Chargers and the 49ers, so I lean in favor of my west coast teams. I really do wish the very best for the "Silver & Black".I remember the Madden days with the Snake, Ken Stabler, and Mr.Stickum, Lester Hayes.Wow, those were the good ole days!Good Luck to you guys this season!
