what do you all think they will do with the other RBs? They can't keep them all. Considering Perry is good, what will happen to Watson and Dorsey? Someone at work here thinks the Bengals will look to get rid of Rudi. I really don't see that happening.

Any thoughts?

Who knows all the RB's have awesome upside, I was impressed with Dorsey last year.  We saw how good Chris Perry can be our playoff year.  Watson was clearly the better back over Rudy when he played last year.  Rudy has history and could have been just having a bad year so its a tough call, however I would love to see Alexander in stripes.

dorsey is good as gone..depending on irons they will probably put him on IR/PUP if unable to play this year..perry would have a reduced role..i say move him to WR if he is healthy..he had really good hands when he did play(just a thought)..rudi is not going anywhere, watson had a good year last year so we will keep him..alexander would be a good pick up just for depth and leadership purpose..

I agree with slim12jim, if Alexander becomes a bengal Dorsey will get released being that Perry will be back  100%. Dorsey is good but not better than what Chris will bring.

Also I hear a lot of my Bengal fans are upset about the analyst not giving any credit to the Bengals in 2008. I am a BENGAL fan for life, but Cincy has been so unpredictable for years now. It's too early to tell what they will be like. With the BENGALS I notice to get a good prediction, you have to wait after the first quarter of the season. Cincy did some good drafting and we have healthy stars coming back, it would seem they have a chance being in the hunt, BUT.. its to early to assume with the BENGALS... WHAT DO ANY OF MY FELLOW BENGALS THINK??

I think this year more than any we will need to rely more on the running game..the passing game will always be there but if we can keep our offense on the field more and defense off it will translate into more wins..picking up alexander will just add depth and more carries..the OL will be fine if they can stay healthy..people talk about how the Bengals OL cannot run block that well..that is partly b/c you have players moving around on the line and have to remember what to do on run plays..there is a lot more pulling and specific blocking in the run game vs passing game where the important thing is picking up the blitz..

the bengals will be right in the title hunt with the Steelers and Browns..all 3 teams have weaknesses along with the schedule is going to hurt all the teams in the afc north

I think it's going to be a long, disappointing season. The only position groups on this team I have any faith in are the QBs, O-line, and starting CBs. The linebackers suck, the safeties suck, the running backs all suck, the wide receivers are all of a sudden a question mark, the defensive line is iffy at best. Plus, our special team still blow.

I'm a fan, but that's the truth.

I hope they prove me wrong.

Seahawks fan here!!!!!!!!

Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents about the rumours of Alexander maybe signing with you guys.

First of all.....I thought that we should of given him one more season to prove that it was just the injuries that dropped his production. But someones head needed to roll, and it was his.And our new backs are not an upgrade.

second........It has been a Seahawk jinx for quite some time,as soon as we get tired of someone they go and do better things with another team.

third......The guy is a good person, heck he writes childrens books for christ sake.(And your image could use some help).

I do not think he is a everydown back anymore, but with some of the other guys you have he would be a decent addition for ya'.But if he busted off a killer season I would not be surprised.

Hell, I'd love to see Alexander sitting everyone down on the team with maturity issues and have him read his childrens books, if anything maybe they would quit screwing up just to get out of it....

I think Alexander is a great pick up - he'll provide depth, and be a role model for some other select Bengals.  But I think alot of people are missing two of our biggest problems on the team (ill skip the legal ones) - no one is going to be able to run the ball behind our O line.  Everyone says we have filled some positions trying to beef up the line but look at last year how many seconds did Palmer have before someone was pulling on his jersey?  I would be scared to see a QB of Palmers talent have the time that pretty boy Brady or everyones favorite tv star Peyton Manning has.  Because of Palmer and a hell of a receiving crew we moved the ball last year.

If you look back at all the games though you will notice that we would get the ball and the play calls would be good until the red zone.  Once we would break the barrier into around the 20 our O-coordinator had a mental fart everytime.

Hmmm how did we get to the 20 - we passed with a run here and there...  We are in the 20, what should we do????? lets run it three times and get a field goal!

My outlook for the upcoming season - we go about .500 and see a lot of potential develop for next seasons.... I hope Lewis sticks to his guns and sits Chad until 2011...  I've stuck up for all his antics just because he stayed out of jail but this is ridiculous ...  TJ is what makes Chad worth a shit anyways...

That was a little longer than I had planned... - overall ill be there for every touchdown taking my car bomb and chanting who dey
