I thought it was a problem with just the Bengals but now I see a pattern happening. First Joseph Addai, now Cedrick Benson, drunk RB must have problems with listening to the police. I wonder if Benson tried saying, "I play for the Bears?"
If you haven't already been told this, when you are talking to the police always respond "yes sir" or "no sir" do what ever they ask and be polite and respectful. Even if you don't agree with what they are doing or have a predisposed disposition because of how you have been treated in the past, what ever happened then is not going to help you now.
Once again:
- Bite your tongue and pay attention.
- Show them respect wheather you think they deserve it or not.
- Answer their questions with "Yes sir" or "No sir."
- What ever your last run in with the police, don't let that affect what you do with this run in.
- Do what ever the officer tells you to do, for that matter do what ever anyone with a gun tells you to do.
Following these simple rules have caused me to get a warning or a seatbelt ticket instead of a speeding ticket quite few times. Police are like snakes, in the fact that they are more scared of you then you are of them. If you had a job where every little thing you were trained to do might cause you to be shot and killed you might be a little jumpy also.
