Great to see a team finally get tough  and tell a star player he is gone after repeat offences! Im sure that not many teams would boot their most talented QB and more than likely their starter.. just for this im rooting for LSU as long as they arent playing my longhorns this year!

Rarely do I agree with a Longhorn, but he's right.

Young men dream of playing for a national title at a big time program.  Too bad Ryan didn't appreciate the opportunity.  Les has shown that no single player is above the team, even if he is a star player.  I hope this sets a precent at LSU to keep its players in line.

I really need to learn how to use spell check.  I meant to say set a "precedent" at LSU.  I don't think the other thing is even a word.

The thing is Ryan P. was only a back up q-back.  He was only maybe going to get his chance to start this year.  So please explain to me why he should have thought he was so invincible.

You would think these idiots whould figure this out. It happens to all big time programs.  Don't they not know how to read a paper?  Don't they know what the consequences will be?  The answer to both is NO.  They probably do not know how to read and they probably think they can get by with anything since they have since grade school.

This has got to be a joke!!  LSU kicks its star QB off the team ONLY after he screws up for the 4th or 5th time and everybody is patting Les Miles on the back.  The school only graduates a little more than half its athletes and graduates less than half it black athletes, this too should be an issue the school should deal with but doesn't.  If it did then it would not get to BCS title games and make $$$.  LSU is not alone,  all the other state schools share the same blame and hopefully something will be done but the almighty $ will unfortunately prevail.

Well, if you "WHOULD" have been reading the papers you have accused all the "idiots" of not being able to read, you "Whould" have known that Perriloux was to be the starter no question.  So, I don't think that it was a question of his invincibility as much as Perriloux and the rest of the college football world expecting this kid to be at the QB1 spot on the defending National Champions squad.   Unfortunately the kid's decision making skills were not as honed as his football skills....sort of like your spelling.

His football skilled were honed?  If that were the case he whouldnt have been backing up a piece of trash like matt flynn.   Nice argument though.

Your the idiot,

Matt Flynn was smart enough to understand his limitations and was enough of a field general to guide a team through the perils of the most competitve conference in the league and on to a national championship. Not bad for an idiot. Of course your personal acheivements probably rival that.

Now if you are arguing Perriloux's raw talent and ability, then you are truly intelectually changelled. That is common knowledge.  Also, he certainly was set to be the starter. With all this in mind, I am still not sure what your beef( as in complaint) was. None of this was in question.

My only complaint to your pontification was calling Matt Flynn trash.  He was only smart enough to manage to quarterback LSU ( while having less physical skills that the QB backing him up) using intellectual skills and gamesmanship to compensate for lesser physicial skills, to a national championship.

Please dont even respond. You have no arguement for this reference. Besides being unfounded, the reference is the zenith of unprofessionalism...and really should have no place in respectable dialogue
