huskerbred-i would be shocked if NU turned it around that fast. They have a long way to go. I would agree that 10-2 in 2009 is doable, but probably not this year. Hope you beat Mizzou though! And I disagree that KU was a shot in the pan. Are they headed toward a 20 year run of excellence....no. But they will be more consistent in the years to come and I expect them to compete for bowl berths each year, which is better than in the past. Hoops is still king on Mount Oread obviously.
Daniels is brought up in a lot of Mizzou posts, and rightfully so. But how do you see him transfering his skills to the NFL? Is he too small?

I think Kansas will probably be top 15 this year. I don't think there was any disrespect intended, bur Kansas doesn't really have anything for Dodd to update or talk about. Could there be a little bias? Sure, he's a Missouri grad....that wouldn't surprise me.
As for Rockttop47, you said: "I wouldn't brag about that Tech win too much. LSU beat them by 38 during the season."
I love hearing that from a Volunteer fan. You guys won't play us to save your pathetic lives. Fullmer doesn't want to give recruits another reason to choose VT over Tennessee. Please worry about your team, and maybe see if you can convince your coach to start a series with the Hikies, if you want to back up your big mouth.

KU and Mizzou have been on the same path the during the past decade, for the most part. MU has enyoyed only a little more success. I remember Brad Smith and how MU wasted his talents. If I remember right, he was 1-3 against KU, maybe even 0-4, but I dont think KU won 4 in a row. Would have to research.
I think it is pretty hard to argue that it is a lot harder in football then basketball. KU was maybe one win away from playing for the college football title last year and they wouldnt have deserved it. Basketball you have to play near perfect for 3 straight weeks or the dream dies. KU had some of the best teams in the 90s and could never accomplish the national title.

Dodd did mention them in regards to a potential Nebraska turn around. Of course they should be in the top 25 at the begining of this year. But they probably won't end there with Texas, Oklahoma and Texas Tech innstead of Baylor and Oky St. but we shall see.

I think it has more to do with the fact that KU didnt have to play OU or Texas last year, as they do this year. Along with playing Texas Tech this year too. KU could possibly lose 4 of their last 6 games. South Florida might give them trouble as well. So KU could possibly be looking at a 5 loss season. Those are just my thoughts of why they did not list them. Just have to wait and see i guess.

Of course they should (and will) be. I'd like to get all fired up about another run at a BCS game, but the odds look long. The schedule is much harder and the secondary could be suspect. I'd guess 9-3 with a 2nd place finish in the North sounds about right though. I expect them to start (and finish) somewhere between 15-20.

Kansas might start out the season alright, but unlike their joke of a schedule last year, in which they didn't have to play either Texas or Oklahoma, they have to play both this year. Not to mention, Mizzou will be pretty solid again next year. I can't see them coming close to the success they had this year.

Do they teach grammar and punctuation in Missouri? My head hurts.

Whsat does Kansas have to do with this article? Nothing. They don't have any QB situations.
It says in the article if you look close. That THey will start in the Top 15. I guess that is why Kansas got slapped with a scholarship hit since they cant graduate players. Obviously Kansas Players and fans can't read the entire article.

Obviously the N in Nebraska still stands for kNowledge! Since the article isnt just about QB situations, that post is ridiculous. The point of KU being mentioned was made many posts ago, so you are late. After the first KU poster made the poll, the thread turned to a different tune, read those posts to catch up.
Finally, nice grammar and punc. yourself Bugaha. I wouldnt be talking about graduation rates until you can graduate yourself.

Kansas should be in the top 10. Both Kansas ad Missouri will be a test but I still think we have a chance.
