That weight of the Football line.... Originator I believe was Coach John McKay when he was asked about the possibility of OJ getting Tired by running the ball so much......

Kudos to H. Walker for being a student of history!!!!

I love the line Coach John McKay used while he was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Bucs.

A reporter asked him about the execution of his offense, and without missing a beat McKay said "I'm in favor of it".  Classic.

I seriously think Ron Powlus deserves to at least be in this conversation.

LOL!

"Major Harris, West Virginia - without him the mobile, run first, throw second shifty QB would not yet exist.  Vince Young, Troy Smith, Donovan McNabb, Dennis Dixon, etc... all have Major to thank."

Tony Rice was doing the same thing at ND at the same time Harris was at WVU. And I think you could argue Rice did it as well, if not better -- he and the Irish did beat WVU in the national championship game in '88.

I don't know why Flutie doesn't get more love from the "experts"? He didn't make ESPN's top 25 players of all timebut look what he did there. I never saw a BC game in my life and they started showing his games every week in California. They also played a pretty tough out of the east schedule- Alabama, Clemson, North Carolina, Miami. Just an exciting player and also my height.

Extremely high honorable mention. I went with Bush because he did returns as well.

Since 1960. By 1960 he was already the best player in the NFL.

He had the fastest release I have ever seen. UGA blitzed and he hit John Brown right in the seam. If they hadn't flubbed so bad against Penn State in the final regular season game they would have been national champs.

Very good. Hard to believe he has been dead longer than JFK.
