Get him the (expletive expletive expletive) of my (expletive) god (expletive) team. For the love of honey drenched (expletive) I hate this no good (expletive) smoking (expletive expletive). Honestly, we know he can't hit, he can't run bases with any kind of knowledge or skill and now he is dropping fly balls? (expletive) him and his momma.

couldn't agree more he is a piece of shit!!!! I don't care that I just swore he is a joke and Dusty Baker is a joke for playing him and the Reds are a joke for not bringing up Jay Bruce and Homer Bailey. This season sucks. Dusty Baker needs to go back to ESPN because he sucks at managing. Krivsky didn't deserve to be fired, he put the pieces together this year and what do we do...suck. I swear to lord jesus if they don't bring up Bruce within the month of may I may go to cinci and kill baker myself, and so help me god if i see Corey Patterson play one more game in center i will kill baker and patterson with my bare hands. We suck because of baker!!! and patterson and dunn and griffey and arroyo ect...

Agreed. How much does he have to suck for Dusty to stop putting him out there? Geeze. I'd take Adam Dunn in CF over Corey Patterson right now. At least Dunn would get on base. The only thing Patterson has going for him is his speed, but more often than not he'll run himself out of a chance to score, or run to catch a ball, and then drop it. Get him outta here!!!! Where the (expletive  ) is Jay Bruce???

Cracks me up that Freel has 3 hits Wednesday, now Patterson starts Friday. Freel has multiple hit games in 6 of his 8 starts. Im not a huge Freel fan, but why isnt he playing over Patterson. Geeeeeez!

Freel has multiple hit games in 6 of his 8 starts.
I did not know what. WTF DUSTY! Just because he's one of "your boyz" doesn't mean you have to play him in front of BETTER PLAYERS. Jesus Christ. I'd be a better manager than Dusty. At least I'd put the best players on the field.

Man, it's been a long week -- peak should be "peek.'
rh -- I hadn't had a chance yet to look at the box. Why does it not surprise me that, at a critical moment, someone who is supposed to play a position well coughs one up and costs this offense-challenged team a run in a close game? And if the score stands, another excellent effort by Volquez will be wasted.
By all rights, a good team, behind a pitcher like Volquez, should be able to win this game with only a small margin to overcome. Oh, wait, I said GOOD team. Tee hee.
Remember, square pegs + round holes = SSDD.

Actually his ERA is just under 3. This is absolutely disgusting. We can't hit anything. Trade Griffey, either re-sign Dunn or trade him. Move Joey Votto and Edwin Encarnacion up in the lineup, get rid of Corey Patterson, either put in Freel or bring up Jay Bruce. Is it really that complicated? Jesus Christ. I did think hiring Dusty at the time was the right move. I am OBVIOUSLY mistaken.

well i think we all agree .Patterson SUCKS out loud. we need runs,runs ,runs. we all have alot to say but, if the Reds org. doesnt see that, Patterson,Weathers,Coffee, Ross,& Gonzo need to go, and do something about it real soon. we will be in a real hurt. he pitched a good game as far as i see. just no runs.

As much as I hate to say it, this season is over and it's only May 2nd. Our team sucks. In the past, as we all know, it was the pitching. I, for one, never thought that the hitting and defense would let us down this much. Unfortunately, I can not see it getting any better. After tonight, we could be down as much as 7 games-7 freaking games. If we won every game and the 1st place teams lost every game they played, it would take a freaking week to catch them. I agree with the poster that said the team would be lucky to win 70 games. When you look at tonight's lineup, you have Patterson, Hatteburg, and Bako which for the most part are guaranteed outs. The other 5 at times are not 1 heck of a lot better. I would hate to think of dismantling the team as an earlier poster suggested. Unfortunately, they MUST do something. I am not 100% sure what the correct answer, but I am sick and tired of maintaining this same status quo. My birthday is in July and my wife is wanting to take me to Cincy for a weekend series against the Rockies. I was curious of anyone had a suggestion for a stylish bag to put over my head. This team will be at least 15 games out of first by then if I had to take a guess. The only encouraging thing is Cueto and Volquez.

I totally agree with all the posts...Corey Patterson should be gone...IF (and that is a big IF) Bruce needs more time...well that's why you have Hopper(when off DL) and Freel...how much you want to bet that Freel makes that play in center and DOESN'T DROP THE BALL? There is a reason he got released by Pinella in Chicago...because he's a TERRIBLE player...belongs in AAA but not in the big leagues, and its SO GOOD having him barely shave 200 on his batting average as well.
I believe that the Reds season is over...we have went right back where we were before the 3 game winning streak, can't hit. So I believe that the following moves should take place, and Jocketty should get on them ASAP!!! What do you guys think?
1)FIRE DUSTY BAKER....he got fired from the Cubs because he was washed up...he still is...this team can't bunt, we can't hit with guys on base, we can't hit with guys off base...we can't hit and run need I go on? He's wasting all of our good arms with bad decisions in lineups and terrible in game decisions
2)RELEASE "DUSTY'S BOYS" aka Patterson, AND Hairston Jr....need I say more there is a reason they were looking for jobs in the spring
3)TRADE GRIFFEY...he's terrible...its either a home run or a double play inning over/strike out
4)TRADE DUNN...same as Griff he's terrible...let him DH in the American league
5)call up the youngsters and LET THEM PLAY aka bailey, bruce, etc trial and error this year is over...why not let them get experience?
6)RELEASE/TRADE one of the catchers...NO TEAM needs three catchers...has to be a Dusty thing in my opinion should be Valentin...bye bye
7)FIRE DICK POLE...not a good pitching coach...has to have Soto come up to work with Cueto...isn't that sorta your job...mr pole?
8)FIRE THE HITTING COACH...surely we can do better than getting shut out once a week...the sooner the better
9)TRADE/RELEASE Weathers...he's been good for us but his days are over...see if you can get A single A prospect out of him or a player to be named
10)reaching a little bit here guys I know...but Jocketty has a good relationship with LaRussa...hire Tony LaRussa as your manager
this is just my thoughts...what do you guys think?
