Raiola is the only one who may have problems in this scheme being undersized.
Peterman will struggle too.  It doesn't matter what the scheme is he's just not that good.  Our running game will come down to the play of the O-Line.  Cherilus was a move in the right direction but it needs more help than just a RT.

I was hoping Smith would be the RB we got in the draft, and i think he'll take over the starting job pretty early in the season.

Raiola and Peterman should both do fine in the zone scheme. Raiola is a bit under-sized, but is athletic, and will do a good job of getting to the second level to occupy the linebackers

We cant knock Raiola for being undersize. That wont be a factor in zone blocking for the running game cause he would be moving. Which means he could get to the linebackers. He pretty quick for a lineman also. Which should allow him to hit the DT as soon as he snaps the ball.

I think the interior of the offensive line will be alright. The tackles need to get that push on the edges to give Smith or Bell an option to the outside or between the the tackle and guard.

Bell going to fumble his way to the best like last year and Smith will take over.

well, i really like this guy also, very tough for his size, and that first video clip was nice cause u seen that if u hit him high while he is running top speed it doesnt really affect him, BUT, ........ANYWHERE below the waist and he fell over like an old man without his cain, and that might not be a good thing, watch the video again, of those 41 carries, he goes down because of a weak, low hit at least 25-30 times, and if he is about to bust lose and a guy barely hits his thigh and he falls, people r really goin to get mad!

In my opinion, Bell has never been a every down back. I think he is a good one-two punch back though. He has some talent. I think confidence is going to be a issue with the guy. Last year he knew Jones was going to take over and Detroit really set the running game up for failure.

If we can keep 8 defenders out of that box, then we should have a field day with the running game. Smith is tough with the ability to make defenders miss and he and Bell should be among the top rushing duo's.

Smith is hands the best back we have and he will emerge after training camp and preseason to be the starter. I don't believe anyone will beat him out.
