The problem was that they did do what they did all year.. they missed free throws... the team shot around 55% for the year from the FREE throw line.

They lost because they didnt think free throws mattered, looks like coach Cal is wrong again

those are some big words against a team that beat texas by 15 on the road in the elite 8

You must have missed the point like Memphis missed the free-throws.

Point is your team missed the most crucial of free-throws! Beating Texas by 15,when Augustine had his worst game is not that impressive.Plus it was a nuetral site and Memphis was the higher seed.(you didnt play on Texas Universitys actual court) I could say wow,you also beat UAB by like 2 @ home. And we all remember the Tennessee loss. Next year schedule better comp outside the Con-usa. Thanks for playing though, come again. Did KU's humble pie choke on the way down?

Quote:(Derrick Rose after the UCLA win)"I knew we were going to win". Hey Rose,I knew Collins and Robinson could run there team better! CDR needs a nose job, kid looks like the wicked witch of eastwick.

I think Brandon Rush is an excellent team player. Do I think he will be a 20 ppg NBA player? No. He was a fantastic defensive player in his years at KU. I watched him game after game lock down the other team's best players. The system that Bill Self runs at KU makes it nearly impossible to score 20 ppg through an entire season. They simply contiune to cycle and pass until they force the defense to break down or make a mistake. Whoever has the ball in their hands at that point is the guy that gets the score.

Rush will be remembered at KU as a great talent who worked hard, played smart, and did what was asked of him by the coaching staff. These are the types of players that KU fans love!!!
