Bad decision by Bobby Cox

Was I the only one that thought when Bobby Cox put Manny Acosta out for his third inning of work that we were going to lose?  I think that this was an absolutely ridiculous decision to make as soon as he made it.

It also wasn't a good decision to take Teixeira out of the game for more speed, and wasn't a decision I would have made.

I really hate to say it but maybe it's time for Bobby Cox to retire.

I have to say, you can chalk this loss up to bobby. he completely mismanaged the end of this game and i hope he realizes it. i couldnt agree more with you about pulling teixeira out of the game, i mean its one thing to replace him with somebody with speed, but Martin Prado?!?! REALLY?!?! plus its made that much worse by the fact that prado eventually pretty much walked home from third. other than bobby doing his part to lose it for us, your not gonna win many games when chipper, francoeur, and mccann go a combined 0-15.

GGGAAAAHHHH!!!!! is the only thing i can say, 0-9?!?! these one run losses are absolutely killing me. its beyond frustrating.

is it possible that this team is simply not as good as all of us and jayson stark thought?

Cox is the worst at manufacturing runs, and always has been. (the Braves  would have won 3 World Series in the 90's if Cox could manage small ball.)

You don't lose 9 straight 1 run games if the manager is doing his job.

Amen to that Frenchie... I really hope they do come out with a fire lit under their ass's. This is getting ridiculous.

And I do agree that was a bad call going with Acosta but if it had worked then you would be saying what a good decision to keep him in......

I have watched Bobby Cox turn World Series champions into division winners for what, 17 years now?

Nothing he does surprises me any more.
