The Orioles and Rays are in the same division! So I guess they can;t both be in first place, as your opening eludes to, can they?

The Orioles and Rays are tied for first, as his opening eludes to. See, that didn't require a lot of thinking outside the box.

His opening ALLUDES to the fact that they were actually tied for first...They may not be right now, but they were when he wrote the article.  Before you rip an author, make sure you have a clue what you're talking about.

It's great that you can call someone an idiot so freely..... the O's and Rays were 14-11 this AM Tied for 1st atop of the AL East.  Not that hard to understand.  How can you be a Cowboy fan living in NY!  That's sick!

They were tied. The Orioles just fixed that problem.

Thank you for your insightful comment.  As has been pointed out numerous times above, the O's and Rays were in first place.

But, with a Yankees/Cowboys fan, you can't expect too much...what's the word?...too much cognitive ability.

Well, when this went to press, they were.  You see, there's this wonderful thing in sports we like to call a tie.  It's only got three letters.  Look it up.
