i voted for other, and my other is inability to win close games. 0-8 in one run games just about says it all

Injuries to our pitching staff haven't hurt us yet too much, but it might in the future.

i agree with SOB not being able to win the close ones is heart breaking we would have one of the top records in the majors if we would have won just half of them one run games and speaking of one run games anyone remember the 1991 World Series hello one run losses

I totally agree. The one run losses are killers and they have got to be seriously deflating the morale on the team. I know they certainly are helping the morale of Braves fanatics everywhere!

I belive it is the inability to play small ball... If we could play small ball and get the lead off batter on base more than we would not be hurting from the 1 run losses as much.

I, too, voted for inability to play small ball. I believe small ball is crucial in close games and is exactly why we are 0-8 in one run games. Last I checked we were DEAD LAST in the major leagues in both stolen bases and sacrifices. I believe there is a direct correlation between this fact and the fact that we are 0-8 in one run games.
I am a HUGE Brave's fan and am very positive about our team, but I truly believe we have to solve the small ball problem if we are to succeed.

Injuries proned players will be the bigest concern for the Braves lets just hope it will get better as we go in to the season.

the losses are for the bullpen
these guys can't get three outs without giving up at least two or three runs
(and then leaving runners on for the next dope to take care of)
get the three outs
like you get paid to do
= more wins
(including one run games)

My biggest concern is that Cox is still managing. As long as he manages the team, aint no use worrying about the rest of it cuz we cant win the big one. Once Cox is gone, it becomnes worthwhile to discuss other concerns.

We have 6 pitchers on DL.2 of them are aces, and for me that is a big concern

Inconsistancy is my concern. We have shown an ability to overcome the injuries and such, but the consistancy has not been there all year. We are first in batting average, and third in ERA, so it's just a matter of getting it all together each and every game on a regular basis.

I chose other just to offer something else that is of concern: patience at the plate. Our Baby Braves should start working on selectivity and patience at the plate this year. "Aggressive" is a label that we're getting. That's not always a good thing.
I am well aware of how the offensive is producing nicely, but too many times have I seen runners stranded or not moved up with less than two outs. This could fall under "inability to play small ball" but I believe this is just a subcategory of that choice.
Swinging at the first pitch is, simply put, not always the best choice.
The top of our line-up is by far more patient than the bottom of the order. It's scary that throughout the entire order (pitcher excluded), we have power and the ability to smack the ball. However, the pitchers know that and might issue a free pass if we didn't constantly swing at the first pitch.
