The Reds are coming to town Monday you better bring your A game because if not I smell a sweep the Cards are overrated with below avg. pitching yeah they may be hot now but the back of the baseball card never lies they will come back to earth agaist the Reds. GO REDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about you other Cardinal fans but I am shaking in my boots. I am scared to face a team 4 games under .500. There will not be a sweep of the Cardinals. Now a sweep of the Reds, very possible. If the Cardinals are overrated, what does that make the Reds? I guess that means you guys just suck. Sorry to break the news to you buckeyes.

Oh really? Then tell me something dude. Then why are the Cardinals the one barely in 2nd place, only a half game behind the Cubs and NOT your Reds team? Dude, 2nd place teams don't have below average pitching.

Huh??? Then why was the so-called "experts" picking the Cards to finish in last place or in 5th place? If anything, the Cards are underrated, which is okay with me.
If we have below average pitching then so does everyone else in the NL. And if we are overrated, then so is everyone else in the NL.

Great post guys this Reds fan here obviously does not look at the stats. This below average pitching is second only to the D-Backs. Yeah..we might not have very well know players around the rest of the league but these guys are getting the job done.

The Cardinals are playing very well right now, but can you really expect Kyle Lohse, Braden Looper, and Todd Wellemeyer to keep it up throughout the entire season? Dave Duncan is an absolute genius, but Lohse has a career ERA around 5 for a reason, and Looper is simply a starter because there is not much depth there. I don't know much about Wellemeyer, but he has given up 4 or more runs in 3 of his last 4 starts. Maybe he's finally showing his true colors.
On a side note, what was Cesar Izturis thinking on that ground ball hit about 5 feet to his right by Joey Votto yesterday? He froze and could have easily gotten to it if he tried.

i was at the park last night and yes izturis froze big time. in his defense, he was moving to the 2nd base bag on contact and the ball was hit to his right . his momentum was too much to start back. bad read off the bat is all. id rather have Ryan.
