Like I said, you Cubbie fans are indeed ignorant. Izturis just so happens to be a very good shortstop and the best shortstop my team has had since the retirement of Ozzie Smith. Now I'm not saying that he's just as good as the Wizzard but not too far behind. I would much rather have Izturis over and beyond Fukudome. Your boy needs to go back to Japan before he falls flat on his face in embarrassment.You basically said Izturis is almost as good as the Wizard. Isn't that punishable by death in Cardinal Nation? Do you still prefer a SS batting under the Mendoza line over a guy batting well over .300 with an OBP well over .400?
I don't know how the team someone pitches for has anything to do with how high his ERA is, and I don't think you do either. Please enlighten me as to why Jose Valverde's ERA would be any better or worse pitching for the Rockies, Cubs, Cardinals, or any other team.
