That was a stink bomb last night...

I gotta ask since that was only the 4th game I have seen all year on TV (i'm in florida and invested in the flyers (hockey package) over the basketball package)...have the sixers had any half court game whatsoever this year? if so who?

i know they can run...but man what's the plan

does it all rely on Iggy?

I am still ecstatic they one game one and am not throwing in the towel---but good grief that was like a bye last night...

please give me some knowledge and hope here going in to the home game friday night!

well this applies to half of tonights game

so PU again...

I'd really appreciate some feedback here...cuz all I had was the box scores to follow all year

I am really not trying to be negative...it's just when we are running a half court offense we are screwed especially when Iggy takes it upon himself to be THE MAN

I am sure that his shooting could not have been this bad all year

POSITIVES
• priceless experience right now
• IGGY may have cost himself some money, and may have saved the sixers from a big bad commitment

he's a great wingman, but nowhere in his DNA is he a go to guy...I know he is pressing but its been 4 games now....

it was fun for a half, until the attack of the living dead started up in 2nd half

taking this series to 7 will be a huge accomplishment

It'll go 7

We won't lose at home again. We shouldn't have lost last night. It was just a complete 180 degree turn out of no where

Maybe we can pull one out at Detroit, it's not impossible, we've done it before. Regular season and playoffs

to be honest they aint got much of a halfcourt game no most is 1 of 3 things.\

1. Andre Miller with his nice lil ally oops

2. iggy driving

3. hustle points on 2nd chances

besides that no man and its there downfall

our half court offense has always been a problem... Iggy has not played this bad all year though so it looks even worse right now...

we get points off offensive rebounds (2nd best team in the league in that regard) and hustle... we are so athletic we usually can get to the rim but this series the Pistons have been cloggin up the lane for the most part...

so bottomline...either green or lou (who appear to be our best two outside threats) need to get hot early from the outside in order to break down that 5 man circle in the lane...then miller needs to do his thing driving and dishing or pulling up at 15 ft

in the meantime Iggy needs to let the game come to him!

I appreciate the responses, I am trying wrap my brain around this team now that they are actually getting national coverage

it seems that the sixers success is directly related to how well their opponents shoot from the outside

How can the Sixers D look so good one quarter and terrible the next... game 4 was a tale of 2 different halfs.

that's just it., what D is there against rasheed hitting 3s from 6 feet behind the arc? that's 9 points right there and everyone was hitting in the 3rd quarter...we were outscored like 34-15 or something

and since they were making all their shots and not turning the ball over---POOF,
there goes our offense

I think the sixers have been consistently OK throughout the whole series and the Pistons have been either terrible or good...you can guess which games we won...just so happens jeckle went into the pistons locker room at half time of game 4 and hyde came out ---

now we know they can turn in it on in mid-game...hopefully this will kick start the realization that we need to play an effective half court offense to win this series...instead of depending on the Pistons to play bad
