varsity is the bomb . but if you take the short drive to beef o' brady's in winder the food is top notch and we have also seen many uga players and couch richt eating there too

You all missed the best place in Athens: Five and 10.  Voted best resturaunt in Atlanta by the AJC (and its in 5 points in Athens).  Unbelieveable food.  Never had a bad meal there.  Pricey but a great date spot (if you want to impress).

For lower priced fare, it has to be Weaver D's.  The best soul food in Athens by far, and I'm a man who loves his soul food.

If you haven't tried Five and 10 though, you're really missing out.

I voted Taco Stand from the list, but I can't believe no one has mentioned Gyro's downtown. Those wraps are awsome. You can't go wrong eating anywhere downtown on gameday.
