I should know more about Franklin after Missouri beat KU this past season but I didnt get to watch the game. Does anyone know how good he is? I read that he has a mental disability, not trying to be rude here so dont get wrong idea, just wondering what potential he might have. He has good size and sounds like hes fast.

What I know of him is what I saw at the combine. He dropped a lot of balls but has really great speed. He has great size and great speed he just needs to work on this catching and I think that he can be a great Wide out on the other side of Bowe

His athleticism warrants the pick.     Many believe his drops are due to lack of concentration not lack of pass catching ability.   Focus can be worked on.

I didn't get a chance to watch alot of MU games but i followed the team pretty close.  He is a very solid reciever.  He is a little under the radar due to the other talent on the team.  He should compliment Bowe very well with his speed.  The best i can remember the drops were not a problem durin the season.  He could turn out to be a steal for a forth rounder.  I heard about his learning problem, but from what i here he makes up for it with extra work.

Wil Franklin is a #3 Reciever at best we neede a solid #2 guy thats was BETTER than Devan Darling.

This may be a reach but....WE SHOULD SIGN WR Chris Henry. He has issues but he'll be a calm here in Kansas City, we're not a partytown. If Adam "Pacman" Jones, Ricky Williams and Odell Thurman can get another chance (they we're all KICKED OUT of the league at one point) he should too. Herm Edwards can handle a player like him, Marvin Lewis couldn't.

Franklin will be A great #2 WR opposite Dawyne Bowe.....

Here's 3 reason why......

1)     First off he has great hands....i don't care what you've read....I'm a MU fan a watched almost ever game....he was overshadowed by Rucker and Daniels....

2)     Size and speed....
              Height: 6-0. Weight: 214.

Will Franklin will be a great #2 WR opposite Dwayne Bowe....

There ar 4 reason why.....

1) I don't care what you've heard he has great hands....I'm a MU fan and watch almost every game....Makes the routine and great catches....

2) Speed and Size...he's 6 feet tall and 214 lbs. Has a 40 inch vertical and ran the 40 in 4.37... has the capablity to take it all the way....

3) His learning disability has never stopped him from learning MU high prolific offensive playbook....

4) He's got a great WR coach in Eric Price that will help him a lot and D-Bowe will share his knowledge too....

Will Frankiling is a speedster, a slot reciever...A guy that's an upgrade over Sammie Parker...Darling is decent, not a boneafide burner but a possession catcher, basically the younger verison of Eddie Kennison nothing flashy but just decent enough. I wouldn't want none of those Cinncy WR's on our team, they are all bums just chasing the money trail. It really doesn't matter if our city isn't that much of party city, they guys got lot to catch a plane to party in Vegas and still get into trouble...

Too many indians, not enough Chiefs!!!

I think Franklin's position depends on how well Darling does.  He could very well be the number two, but I think Darling's experience may beat him out.  Probably a number three, but I'm excited about him.  He's got the potential to give us a real down field threat.  I think Webb is gone, he hasn't shown much, and we still really don't know about Sippio, but if he was that good, I think he would have played last year.  We didn't have anything to lose by playing him, so there's a good chance he's gone too.  I'm glad we picked up a few receivers in the draft and undrafted free agents.  We definitely need them.

Herm wouldn't let Chris Henry in his locker room if he played for free. plus, i think he'll get a 1-year suspension.
