You make some good points but you should work on your trash-talking. I really tried to be impressed or intimidated by that swill you typed on this board, but it just didn't work. I guess they don't require you to take english in high school to get into Ball State. Marshmellow isn't even a word. I guess the application for Ball State probably looks something like this:

Get a coach. Get a future in D1 football , and please dont guess when it comes to a team that you could easily lose to. We wont be.

Nope... still not intimidated. You know that BSU wouldn't have been in a bowl game if they were in a real conference. The MAC is a bunch of high school teams.
As for being in OT on the boards, I think the fact that you replied immediately answers that.
I didn't guess and I didn't say it was a sure win. Our team is just better than yours overall.

Such a tough guy. We play who we play and thats you. We have a better coach than you and a better team than you . As far as your team in your conference..... Im laughing along with the rest of the country.
Who do you suppose you will beat in the big 2 conference this season? Get off your high horse. IU football doesnt shadow anybody. You might win 7 or 8 games a year at best in the MAC but couldnt beat the top two or three teams consistantly for sure.
Ball State will be in another bowl game this post season and I really doubt your team will. When you are an undergrdog at home vs BSU then you will get the picture of what Vegas and everybody else thinks about your afterthought football program.
And stop telling evryone they are clowns when you are a struggling non intimidating football program. Beat somebody good in 08 . That would be brilliant !

You have given no evidence to show that BSU is a better team than IU. They were behind us in the CBS Sportsline top 120 the entire season last year. You would know that if you weren't an idiot. The only evidence you've given to show that BSU is good is "Um... Nate Davis is good." I can't believe I didn't see how great BSU was last year! Thank you so much for opening my eyes, oh guru of college football knowledge. As far as IU not doing well in the MAC, just look at our overall record vs. MAC teams. It's self-explanatory. IU has central michigan at home next year and they will put up a good fight, as they showed against purdue last year. However, BSU is not the MAC champion and were never favored to beat IU last year. As for our coach, Bill Lynch did a fine job as an interim coach after our tragedy, which I'm surprised you haven't made fun of yet. I can't even name your coach, which is a bad sign when it comes to good coaches. IU has been in the basement of the Big 10 for years and finally brought itself back out. You, humiliated by this fact, can only hurl insults and lies about our team because that's all you've got. We're not a struggling program. You don't remember when we beat #13 Iowa in '06 or when we beat Purdue for the first time in 7 years last year. You would if you weren't an idiot. As far as beating someone in '08, we will finish with 8 wins, one of which will be over BSU. It won't be a blowout; I still say that your team is decent. Not better than ours, but decent.
I can't wait for your joke of a comeback, filled with every cliche insult I've heard sine 6th grade. By the way, you might want to stop typing "LOL" all the time. It makes you sound even more like a 6th grade girl.

BUILDING BLOCKS
QB Nate Davis might be the best individual talent at that position in the Mid-American Conference. He's the key to an offense that was the most dangerous in the league a year ago. His top targets are WR Dante Love and TE Darius Hill, both first-team All-MAC performers in 2007.
SCHEDULE SITUATION
If you want a darkhorse for the next Boise State or Hawaii among the mid-major programs, don't fall asleep on Ball State. After tying for the MAC West title a year ago, the Cardinals have every starter back on an offense that was potent in 2007. For once, Ball State's nonconference schedule isn't loaded with power programs. The Cardinals play Northeastern, Navy, Indiana and Western Kentucky in non-MAC games.

There is a difference in playing in the Big Ten and being a doormat in the Big Ten. Why do you think they havnt even bothered scheduling your team against OSU or Michigan for two straight seasons ! Yet you want credit for being in the Big Ten? Lets see, one of your wins might be Minnesota..... who lost to Bowling Green who was crushed in their Bowl Game against Tulsa. Look at your schedule for cry'n out loud !! Its not very good for even an independent or a Mid Major team. If you think 8 wins with that sched shows any kind of progression for IU football than you are real happy with being horribly average.You are right about one thing you are the doormat of the big two conference. Your coach took the helm of a team playing inspired football from their real coach. That momentum is long gone especially with the uncertainty of your Quarterback.6 or 7 wins with that schedule will get Lynch fired for sure.
