O line is not glamorous, DE knocking down a QB is. We will see hi light video of QB sacks over and over, when was the last time the O linemen were the subject of a hi light?
The NFL Network has done a great job of showing us the progress of all player positions, where else could we see NFL coaches teaching linemen proper foot work and body position? Thank you NFL Network.
Chris is not only a flashier player, he's a player on a team with less holes (but not by much) than the Dolphins. Chris will make an immediate impact if only because he'll have better help around him.
I'm just astounded at how badly my Bears have drafted. What, are they counting on Colt Brennan late in Day 2? Yuck.
Assuming both play 16 games, I will say Jake has more of an impact.
While its not flashy, to have a 6'7 315 pounder blocking the blind side of the quarterback should provide Beck (or Henne) with enough confidence to begin developing properly. I know I wish the 49ers could have someone like Jake blocking.
