IHO. I think Pierre has some walks too. Anyway you look at it I think that Andre is the better man. He still has a better Avg. He is going to hit more homeruns and has a better arm. He has also made a few good plays in the outfield that kept the Dodgers in games. So I will take that one bad play. Don't get to offended by Dtown. Thats his style. After awhile he will grow on you. If the worst thing he calls you is a rocket scientist your doing pretty good.
Penny is cruising now. Looks like he will got more than 6IP at this point. We have had a lot going on tonight on the boards. Grand slam, Argument, an ump leaving in an ambulance, and a reference of Fimple. And it's only the bottum of the fifth.
Dodgertown may be a sanctimonious blowhard who has no respect for other people's opinions and thinks whatever he posts on this board is the gospel...He may be a guy who calls people's names and questions the intelligence of people he's never met or talked to in person before... but he's our sanctimonious blowhard who has no respect for other people's opinions and thinks whatever he posts on this board is the gospel...and he's our guy who calls people's names and questions the intelligence of people he's never met or talked to in person before...
You get your stupid Texas Ranger fan butt off this board and leave the Dodger arguments to us posters....he may be a pain..but he's our pain..we get to argue his opinions..not yours with your crappy Rangers and crappy Suns and their overrated team...
Go Dodgers!!! Go Lakers!!!..have fun being swept by San Antonio...
I guess I don't understand how the outfield situation comes down to a battle between Ethier and Pierre. It comes down to putting the ball in play. Ethier strikes out once in 6 trips to the plate; Pierre strikes out once in 24 trips to the plate. Kemp strikes out once in 3.5 trips to the plate. Jones strikes out once in 3 trips to the plate.
Jones and Kemp, not a good idea in the same lineup. The battle is NOT between Ethier and Pierre.
